I'm super grateful I found this Dentist office here in Burbank, CA. I had a bad experience with another dental office and I thought I wasn't gonna be able to get the help that I needed with my dental care. Originally moving here to California back in 2011 from my hometown New Orleans, LA. I sadly had to move to another state for a few years but now back in 2022 on Valentine's Day I have returned back to California to continue my career as an Actress. As an actress its very important and personally that your oral care is taken care of properly. Because I'm seen on TV a lot and I also do modeling, I try my best to make sure that I'm getting dental check ups frequently. Finding a home dental office could be hard especially in new communities. I was so impressed from the first day I walked in the door at Dr. Daniel's office. First and foremost, Dr. Daniel is amazing and the staff follows the same energy. You can feel it as soon as you walk in the doors. Everyone is just so welcoming, helpful and kind. In this type of environment that was created, I felt a sense of Relief. I felt safe and comfortable! Dr. Homa helped me my second visit and she is just as awesome as Dr. Daniel. if there is an issue that you bring to their attention, they would not hesitate to fix it immediately making you their top priority. They not only brighten up my day but had me feeling like a super star. I appreciate you all hard work, and your willingness to go to extra mile for your patience. There is a staff member there by the name of Bre. She takes care of all the scheduling I believe, she's also amazing and there is another staff member that is left-handed at the front counter. I was in need of some floss. He did not hesitate to grab me some I mean no attitude, no frustration. Just kindness and willingness to go the extra mile making sure that I was fully taken care of. And also my dental assistant I forgot his name, but this entire staff is just unbelievable amazing. Excellent customer service all the way around and great teamwork. Yes, I would for-sure recommend you, my family, neighbors, friends business partners, and future grandkids this dental office. Great Customer service Many Blessings~ Quiniata J New Orleans MGK read more

The dentist kept insisting I need a root canal instead of a porcelain filling. The root canal would cost more and be covered by my insurance whereas the filling wouldn't because it's considered "cosmetic surgery" and I'd have to pay $1k out of pocket. When I went in for the filling a different dentist at the office said the procedure wasn't necessary and did a clay filling for $30 instead. Beware this place will try upselling you very expensive unnecessary permanently damaging procedures just because the insurance company will cover the costs. read more

Horrible care, caused the worst dental pain of my life, shaved down my adjacent natural tooth to fit an oversized crown, over charged and upsold things I didn't need. They caused my whole bite to shift. They should be shut down. Do NOT take your family or children here. First clue should have been that the dentist has dentures and the staff has not the best teeth or hygiene. read more

I have been going here for a few years. The doctors have changed and wait times have gotten longer and longer. Last year when I came it took forever just for a cleaning, but I decided to give them another chance. They were suppose to contact my insurance for a filling I wanted replaced and never called them or called me to follow up. The next time I had a cleaning and asked about this, they had an excuse and just brushed it off. I came in for a simple cleaning again. The doctor made me feel stupid cause I wanted to change the filling from silver to a composite. Now that I have researched the the downside of mercury fillings. I waited another hour and a half and they told me I had to wait even longer just for a cleaning. I ended up just leaving as I didn't want to give them anymore of my time. I would avoid this place. They have gone down hill and definitely don't act like they care. The front desk seemed rude as well and were not helpful. read more

First time patient here and they treated me so well. The office is clean and modern. The staff is so professional and caring while always making sure you're comfortable. I felt confident and at ease as soon as I sat down. They also have cool movies to watch while you're in the seat which I enjoyed. I had a cleaning and four fillings and I'm very happy with the results. Definitely recommend. read more

Interesting experience. The Staff are all super great and the Doc is as well. The office is spotless and everyone was happy and kind. I did the first visit pile of paper work then off to get x-rays and photos. Then the fun started. Doc comes in and introduces himself but has some questions about my forms. "How long have you had back problems and what is it." Firstly, that question is not even on the forms. Secondly, I have never had any long term back issues. (Interesting) After that was straightened out Doc goes over my x-rays and photos. My entire reason for going there was I cracked a molar right down the middle but not to the roots. See, I have California Medi-Cal Dental (AKA: Denti-Cal) Doc said he could save the tooth and left for 10 minutes. He came back in with "strike two" I like to call it the pay up twist. Suddenly the tooth was beyond saving and he found issues with ALL but three other teeth in my mouth. OK, have been battling colon cancer since 2015 and have undergone chemo which can reek havoc. His billing person will be in to explain my options shortly. $750 out of pocket, $20,000 out of pocket if I do it all due to what Denti-Cal will cover and will not. FAT CHANCE! I made a follow up appointment and my phone starts screaming at me driving home. "Someone" had recently pulled a credit check on me. Really? Who could that possibly be? There is no pain from my broken molar and I will get it fixed ASAP but not out of pocket to anyone. If I was still 30 and employed, sure. At 61 and disabled Nope. read more

Super cool. Super modern. Screens on the ceiling so you can watch something while they work. Nice waiting room. Friendly staff. The doctor took the time to tell me the building used to be a Sizzler restaurant (that he was a customer of) before he bought it. Great practice highly recommend. read more

Daniel Boudaie, DDS - Waiting room - General Dentistry Near Me - Los Angeles, California

This dentist was the worst experience I've ever had. Although it was years ago I remember they were charging me when they were on my insurance list and were supposed to accept the fee from my provider and would tell me that I needed to pay also he did a root canal and it ended up getting infected and had to go see an endodontist and I had to pay out of pocket which cost me $2000 and the reason was he said he couldn't do anything. They basically over charged me and in the end I got an infection from the procedure and he couldn't help after my insurance paid him and I paid. Never again. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. trust the bad reviews of this place and save ur teeth. Daniel and every dentist in this office need to have their licenses taken away before they ruin even more lives! Whole group of amateurs that are only looking out to make money they could care less about your dental health. Takes 3 dentists looking at the same 2 month old X rays to realize i should see a Endodontic. So 2 months of extreme pain and in urgent need of a root canal but i haveto start all over with a new office because this office cant do the job, wish they told me that day 1 so i could get my teeth fixed somewhere else instead of waiting for this office to grow some balls and admit they are incapable in the first place. Useless office that needs to be closed down. read more

This office literally tried ripping me off $500. Either they're negligent or complete SCAM ARTISTS! Telling me that a deep cleaning and fillings are NOT COVERED by denti-cal. LOL. Fillings are 100 percent covered and deep cleanings need to be authorized by the insurance and if approved it is fully covered. Please dont come here. Im giving them the benefit of the doubt that they made the "mistake" of going off of the co pay of an OLD INACTIVE insurance. But deep down they knew wtf they were doing. As for the man who presented me with my tx plan. Go to hell. Worst of all trying to give me his false sympathy bc times are tough bc of covid. You Are a shameless liar. Be careful how you treat people because karma doesnt care if we're in a pandemic or Not. read more

This was the most relaxed, kind and attentive Dentist office I've been to. Not to mention the great music! Carla in the office was always as helpful as she could be. I was leaving the country and she moved mountains for me to get what I needed done. Everyone was so professional and when I heard the doctors speak about my teeth and examine My X-rays they thought about things that were so important like the pressure of my jaw and what the best plan of action would be! I would continue here forever if I still lived in the states!! Thank you so much!!! read more

This office cares about the patient. The kindness and calmness that I experience each time I visit is very welcoming. From Bri and Carla, to Dr. Boudaie himself, you are encouraged and told the truth each and every step. I was impressed when the Doctor told me that he'd suggest a bridge, and not an implant. In that moment, I felt like someone was looking in my best interest, and I appreciated that. This will be my dentist for the foreseeable future. read more

Please don't go there, they will try to scam you, my husband got charged $600 dollars for a deep cleaning that they did in 2 visits. 1st visit was ok, but 2nd visit the dentist didn't even took 5 minutes and he told my husband he was ready to go. They will try to convince you that you need a lot of extensive dental work. I wish I had reviewed them on Yelp first. Please be aware of these greedy dentists. read more

Came today again! I was checked in by Maribel! Had all my paperwork ready for me in a matter of moments and was able to explain all my questions and readjust anything that was going to be done today. Extremely helpful and professional. Today I was seen by Alex and Joshua. Super easy and fast! Alex was telling me step by step what was being done so I wasn't kept wondering when everything was going to be over which was nice to be kept in the loop and kept checking for signs of discomfort :) Joshua was facilitating the procedure. After the deep cleaning Joshua did a cleaning too which was super gentle considering my mouth was still numb. Super considerate considering I ended up laughing at the movie that was being played in the room and he checked immediately if anything hurt or there was discomfort. If you're on the fence on whether or not you want to come here all I have to really say is all the workers at Dr. Daniel Boudaie Family Dentistry seem to really care but still able to get through everything in a timely manner. Super appreciative and will be coming back in the future for any other dental needs. read more

Absolutely love coming to Dr. Boudaie's office. It is clean and equipment is not run down. Staff makes you feel welcomed and comfortable. They are extremely helpful and have answers to any questions you might have. A big thank you to Karla for always having a great attitude and being so helpful! It is very appreciated!!! read more

STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!! This review is for my mom but they absolutely ripped her off, refused to check her insurance even though she HAS coverage, and used scare tactics to get her to pay cash. A family friend who works in the dental confirmed so got taken advantage of. On top of that, the "doctor" forgot about her during treatment so she had to endure his treatment for more than she had to. So disgusted, can't believe that this happened. Save your money and go to a business that will actually respect you. read more

First off, Yelp reviews for this business are very misleading. I had a wonderful experience here as a new patient. Carla, the woman at the front desk was very knowledgeable. She took the time to explain what my benefits entail, and broke down pricing to where I understood. The doctor has been practicing for over 30 years. I highly recommend them. Dental assistants and all the staff I came across were friendly, professional and knowledgeable as well. read more

My mom loves this place. She says the staff is nice to her. She is 74 and has had extensive dental work and she's had to pay for it but she continues to want to come here. They do present you with different options. It's up to you to pick what works for you to move forward. They have worked with us in past so for that I appreciate them. read more

This is the worst Dentist I have been to ...First when you get in there a guy Lacey) pulls you in the office runs all this credit inquiries on your current report... then finally the dentist does the work and I hear him say oh I should've listen to the surgeon I pulled out too many teeth I freaked out in the chair I said what do you mean you pulled out too many teeth so then he made partial dentures for me they never fit and he screamed at me I'm going fix it one more time and then that's it ......but meanwhile they charge $6000 and he screaming at me that he's only going to fix it one more time and then for me to get out ?????......don't go I don't recommend this place it's he's Incompetent read more

Awful. The worst place of any business. Incompetent staff who say they've done things that you will need to continually keep on them to make sure. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. read more

Whatever you do, do not give them your money. They charged me for services they never did and when insurance saw they said my teeth don't even need those services. It has been months of hounding Lacey to give me a refund but unfortunately he has a hard time doing the basic math on my paperwork or returning any of my calls or emails for TWO MONTHS. Worst part is my tooth still hurts after they did their work. Unless you want to be robbed and left in pain, go elsewhere. read more

Daniel Boudaie's Dental Practice Is The Only Dental Office I Trust In Los Angeles. I Had Amazing Dental Work Done Last Year, and Always Go To Them For My Check-ups and Extra Dental Procedure. I was at Dr Daniel Boudaie dental office. I like to give them more than a five stars. The front desk they are all friendly and professional. The office is the most personal protective equipment. The x-ray technician and doctor assistant is the most caring loving and professional. I saw Doctor Alex for my deep cleaning and cavities. He's the most professional caring loving dentist I ever had. He take his time to explain in detail excellent job. I recommend everybody who needs this kind of treatments. You can try you will be very happy. Avoid! Worst medical provider of any kind I have ever dealt with he constantly lies about fees and overcharges. I asked him not to put a crown on a tooth but he just ground it down so he would have to anyway. They push up sales constantly. Final straw was I get of work in the middle of the day because they couldn't schedule later in the day, then they left me in the waiting room an hour and 15 minutes. seriously terrible care, service, and prices. Avoid! read more

They tried to charge me for a routine cleaning and fillings telling me That my insurance didn't cover it. I called my insurance and was told both were covered. After the exam they have someone else come in to give you a sales pitch about the cost of procedures and how it's necessary to get these things done. Total scam. read more

I went here a year ago for a root canal and first off the dentist (Dr Boudaie) tries to sell you everything under the sun. When he took an x day I SAW WITH MY OWN EYES that the dentist hadn't completed the root canal and didn't reach the end of the root! The main dentist (Dr. Boudaie) said it was fine. Who am I to argue. One year later I'm experiencing horrible pain. I had to get ANOTHER root canal on the same damn tooth. Honestly, shame on me. They make you sign a form that states sometimes the tooth doesn't take to the root canal- ha thats bs. They just need to do a better job and make sure that doesn't happen! Also, this "dentist " sanded down another piece of my tooth so my crown would fit! Absolute nightmare. I wouldn't trust him. He's dishonest and out to make as much money as possible read more

I have been to Dr Boudaie's office just once, Carla is the receptionist or office manager that greeted me and was absolutely as professional and sweet as anybody could be, I did not have to wait a long time to see the doctor and he was very kind explaining everything I needed to have done, I went in with a broken tooth and he told me all the options I have! Tomorrow I am going in to get that broken tooth fixed! I highly recommend this dental office and while I am there tomorrow I'm going to make an appointment for my husband to get his teeth checked up and cleaned! I did a review on the dental office website and I made a huge mistake, I put "that I was paid or bribed for my review" that was 100% false! I have not figured out how to change it. I want everyone to know that this is a fabulous office and I will tell everybody I know that they should get their teeth taken care of there, I was NOT paid or bribed for this review. I will see you tomorrow Carla and Dr Boudaie! SINCERELY Wendy J read more

I don't like going g to dentist's what do ever, but I needed to change and get rid of my bad teeth and get dentures. I am very impressed with the service I have received from everyone there, starting from the women in the front to everyone that's works in the back. Very professional and easy to get along with. Would I recommend this place yes I would. They work with you on everything and if you need to do a payment plan they give so many options and don't rush you in your decision. I have finally found a dentist office I will be going back to for anything I need. read more

Be prepared with all your insurance information and what is covered before going to this office, or better yet; find a different practice. This was my first visit here, I went in for a routine cleaning; was told I needed a deep clean, not surprising since it had been a little while. Before the cleaning; a guy came in with a bill saying what I owed and was very pushy with signing and paying as quick as possible. I was confused since I had insurance, but was feeling very pressured so I paid and signed. The initial cleaning was ok, much more invasive than my last dentist, and they used a lot more medication as well, but they are clean. When I called with concerns on how much I paid since I found my insurance coverage info; the office manager Lacey was again very pushy telling me I paid for medications they had to use and "he told me so". Let me be clear; there was no breakdown of what I was paying, and little time to even think about what was being done. And if I was told, it was incredibly unclear. In the end, I felt I was nothing more to this office than a new mouth to upsell like a shady mechanic would with car repairs. Mostly upset I didn't check reviews on this place first, or follow my gut when I was in the office, or had been more firm and asked more questions... But alas I did not. So here I am screaming in the internet. Lesson learned. No one likes to feel like they got conned, so I will not be returning to this practice. read more

I am a longtime customer of Dr. Boudaie's dental practice and it's my favorite place for dentistry. First, it's very convenient for bus riders, served by the 165 on Vanowen St. and by the 152 on Vineland. Second, if I need any additional services, most of the time, the specialist comes to this location so I don't need to travel all over the place, just to here. Third, the service I get from their staff and dental people is great! They have good technology, they smile, they look happy to be there, which is a sign of good management as well. They stand behind their work and they serve people of all ages, from young to old. Also, of course they have Spanish and English, but if you need dental work with someone who speaks another language, give them a ring, they might have someone who can help you. It makes me feel good to be one of their customers. read more
