Went here for a business trip to visit people at Southern Danish University. The hotel is nearby…read moreand very convenient. Was staying in the new wing of the "kro" which has modern rooms. The rooms are large (by Danish standards) and the bathrooms have tub and shower. The rooms have high speed internet (free) and good cable television. Had their breakfast which has a great mixture of food and it is of good quality. Great place for staying a night or two and convenient location.

We had our close to two years old with us. She was exploring the whole house. The staff just smiled, worked around her and smiled to her. She, we and the entire party (and the other guest staying here) seemed to have a great time. I know that we are definitely coming back to eat, most probably to stay as well.

The Ferielejlighed (try to say that 3 times fast if you're not a native Danish speaker!) is a…read morebeautiful and spacious vacation rental apartment, located in the heart of Kerteminde and within walking distance of almost anything you could possibly need (groceries, bakeries, retail stores, restaurants, the harbor, marina and beach!). We had the good fortune to rent this place for a couple of weeks in December and could not have been happier with how it turned out. The apartment was well furnished, spacious and located on the first floor (in the American parlance anyway), with parking literally within a few feet of the doorstep along a one-way street. There is a well stocked kitchen, private bathroom, laundry room, living room, dining room and combination bedroom/office. You also have access to a shared patio/garden, not visible from the street, which gives you a place to get outside for some fresh air while still having some privacy. Free Wi-Fi, cable TV and all utilities are included. Peter (the owner) was great to work with and went above and beyond to help shuttle some of our party between the train station and his other bed and breakfast, where they stayed for the first two days until the apartment was available. At that point, he also helped them move over and to the apartment. Absolutely top notch customer service and I cannot thank him enough for how well he looked after our party. If you're looking for accommodations in Kerteminde specifically, or anywhere nearby in Northeast Fyn, this place deserve serious consideration. Kerteminde is a beautiful town and this is a wonderful rental apartment to stay in. I will definitely be using them again the next time we need a place to stay.
