It's a big store on the Haywards Heath highstreet that sells clothes horses to duvet sets, kitchenware to dog baskets. This is the perfect shop to pay a visit if you have just moved into a new place and need to get hold of all your general household items. While the prices are extemely reasonable, don't mistake it for a pound shop. This meanss that the merchandise is of a better quality, but still affordable. They even sell pick n' mix. The staff will generally leave shoppers to their own devices, but if you need any help or directions for where to find light bulbs etc. they will happily point you in the right direction. A good shop for pretty much anything you would want to put in your house if you are a little less fussy over desiggner labels or top brand names.

To be fair the group hadn't had an entry since early 2008, but still I was intrigued by the active hatred that the workers in this cornershop had seemingly inspired, due to them being quite so 'grumpy' and 'rude'. I have often been standing in M&A in the early hours, whilst everything else has been closed, maybe a little drunk, indecisively hovering aound their shop deciding what to buy for what might seem like an eternity, and they have always been friendly and quite humorous in my experience. So I can only go on that, and assume either the students who made the group are over sensitive, or the workers of M&A had some massive customer service crackdown after the facebook fiasco. Anyway, the best thing about this convenience store, and the only reason why I have been in it, is the fact that it opens til later than other off licences, so affords you the luxury of continuing your drunkery until 3am. This fact is known to most in this area, and sometimes you can find yourself having non-sensical chats to other people who've made the very same pilgrimage as you, and the store can get quite busy for such a time. There is also notably a decent selection of magazines on offer.
