She did such an amazing job. I cannot tell how much she has helped me to feel so much better about myself. I admit I was a little nervous going for such a change. She reassured me I had the right shape of face for the style I am looking for. I find it very comforting that she told me the truth with some of the styles I was showing her I liked. We looked over what would and would not work with my hair type and face shape. She is just so talented!!

I have to take a moment to share the BEST experience with Amanda Marin of Elevated Hair Lounge ‍…read more From start to finish, the entire experience was absolutely wonderful. Amanda was professional and organized right from the booking process--she asked for inspiration images, provided a clear estimate, and sent a polished booking confirmation through her CRM. When I arrived, she was warm, friendly, and so easy to communicate with. We reviewed my current hair condition, my haircut wishlist, and made a few thoughtful color tweaks to my original inspo to better complement my skin tone (chef's kiss ). Her salon is beautiful and immaculate, and she made sure I was comfortable the entire time--offering a beverage and checking in throughout the service. Beyond her talent, Amanda is genuinely kind, and I truly enjoyed every minute in her chair. If you're looking to get your hair done, I cannot recommend Amanda enough. I already can't wait for my next appointment!

I've been getting my hair done here for some time, and the ladies are lovely, truly. But I must…read moresay, something has me feeling a bit unsettled lately. There's this man who has been at the shop the last two times I visited. I can't quite put my finger on it, but he has a strange way about him. He keeps disappearing into that one room, and as far as I know, they don't do any services in that room. Honestly, it makes me feel quite nervous, and I heard some of the other woman whispering that they think he lives there. I've never seen him sitting in a chair getting any work done on himself. It's a space with so many children and women around. If he is indeed staying there, it simply is not right. My nerves are quite frayed over it, to tell you the truth. And once, I went into the washroom after he had been in there, and the state of it! It looked like he had a "bird bath" in it. It made me feel so uncomfortable. He truly puts me in a tizzy!

I booked a appointment via Instagram with Alexis Artistry for highlights…read moreIt was my first time being with her and I was a bit nervous but I decided to just give her a shot because I wanted to try a new hairdresser BIG MISTAKE immediately after my appointment I disliked the dull lifeless color, it was NOT what I asked for She insisted that it was the color I asked for and she didn't offer me any sort of solution, I decided too leave the salon too not cause a scene I still had to pay her the full amount even though she saw me upset with the outcome she created when I get home my husband asked me " what happened to you good lord " it looked horrible, my hair felt rough, & very dry like a broom I have no idea what she used on me but my hair wasn't like this walking in to the salon Whatever she used completely sucked the life out of my hair & ruined it I was in tears in my car right after leaving the salon but it Dosent end there ..... Days later after washing my hair for the first time after seeing Alexis I experienced SO much hair loss in the shower it had me screaming chunks of my blonde were coming off while I was the shower, my hair stretched like bubble gum I don't even know how to explain it it was the strangest thing I had too immediately turn the water to the coldest temperature to try to stop my hair from stretching like gum I could not even brush my hair for a week because I was so scared too even loose any more hair Im so disappointed She seemed like a fabulous hairdresser on Instagram but she melted my blonde hair off I got advice from other hairstylists and they said this was a result of her burning my hair off with the bleach I wouldn't want this too happen to anyone else I'm just sharing my experience so everyone can be aware of this unexperienced stylist
