First started talking to Jon who had told me that it would be 40-50 dollars for the setup... no problem... good deal... when he picked up the guitar to do the setup he told me it would be 40. When he was done he charged me 50.... Still not a big deal as I wasn't going to argue over 10 dollars. Now for the amp. Jon had told me that it was most likely just a short, it would be repaired in shop, and it would cost me no more than the set up. Fast forward about 10 minutes and a guy named Eric comes in and tells me that they have to bring the amp to their amp guy and that it would cost between 90 and 150 dollars to fix plus 20 dollars for delivery, also said it would only be a couple of days. I left the amp with them and went on my way A week later I still hadn't heard anything so I contacted Jon as he was the contact I was given. He didn't get back to me until two days later and I got nothing but the runaround... and I was told that the shop they brought it to had a lot of their amps and they would get back to me when they heard something. I waited another couple of days and contacted him again. Once again it too him two days to get back to me and he still had no answers. So I waited another two days and contacted him again. This time I get a text back from Eric saying that they are waiting on a part and that's what's taking so long and he would update me the next day. Another two days went by with no update. So I text Eric again who proceeds to tell me that he's just the delivery guy and I needed to contact the shop that had the amp. I proceeded to tell him that I didn't do business with that shop I did it with him... the next day, after I texted him for another update and he tells me that the guy was on vacation for a week and he just got to it... also telling me that he don't know if he can fix it because he's not a line 6 repair shop. So which is it? They have a lot of your amps, waiting on a part, or the guy was on vacation? So now 2.5 weeks later I still don't have my amp or any word on it.

I called the store and explained the issue I was having with my Piccolo, and asked if I could stop by within the hour to meet the Woodwind Tech. and have him take a look at it, to determine if it was a minor or major repair. When I arrived at the store, I explained to Mike, the Woodwind Tech., that it looked like a spring on my Piccolo either needed to be reset or broke off. Mike looked at it, told me what he believed might have occurred, and then took my Piccolo to his workbench to begin working on it. Fifteen minutes later he assessed that one of the springs somehow jumped to the opposite side of the cradle, but he was able to reposition it and tighten the spring tension. In addition, he checked all the pads to make sure they were all seated properly, and in doing so, discovered a leak in one of the keys and made the necessary adjustment. Mike then suggested I try my Piccolo in one of the practice rooms to make sure everything was . After testing it in all the registers, my Piccolo plays BETTER than ever! I couldn't be happier and was very relieved that the work was done in a timely fashion. In addition to Mike's professionalism and concern about the issue I was having with my instrument, I was extremely impressed that he was willing to see me on such short notice to fix it, so I could play it on my gig without worry. This is a true sign of a dedicated Craftsman that takes pride in his work, and understands the needs of working professional musicians that rely on their instruments when it comes to their livelyhood. I highly recommend Mike as a GREAT Woodwind Tech. to professional woodwind players and students, that need their instruments repaired. I will certainly call on Mike again in the future to repair any of my woodwinds. Thank you, Mike Sincerely, Scott Grimaldi Professional Woodwinds Doubler (Saxophones/Flutes/Clarinets)

It was one of my first…read morejobs in sales and I have to say in literally all my work experiences, no one has ever even come close to consistently demonstrating the level of patience, honesty, and fairness that Fast Cash exemplifies on the daily. What most people don't understand is that often times there is an emotional connection to the item that they are selling. They can remember how hard they worked to save to be able to purchase the very thing thing they are now unfortunately selling and often times when the honest reality is given to them concerning the true value of their prized possession, specifically their item's actual value, they understandably take offense to it. You can't mistake someone being realistic from a business standpoint, and furthermore, dismiss their ethical sincerity and fairness with you because you value something more than anyone else in this world would be willing be willing to pay. Their staff may seem blunt, but believe me they are working with you to find the highest value they can pay you for your prized possession in your time of need as they themselves are balancing their own empathy and morality towards you along with their instructed professional business practices. Understanding that this is an actual business and not a charity, you can conclude that they are way beyond fair. Most times when I am selling something, the person behind the counter will turn their computer screen, show me what an item has sold for recently that matches what I am selling, and will discuss the differences such as age of the item, condition, etc... With that said, almost every time I go into any of the 3 locations, I'll see an item I recently just sold to them and it is priced on the floor exactly the way the associate described it would be to me. No one is going to force you to agree to a price, so if you think you can get a better pay out from else where, by all means give it a shot. But from my own personal experience, I've done that only to return to Fast Cash with the very same item just a few days later only to sell it to them for the price I was initially unwilling to accept it was actually worth. In addition, my favorite aspect of doing business with fast cash is I am constantly learning from their staff about how pricing on used items tends to trend, what items hold value greater than others, and ways to look up my own items before coming into the store so that I know what to expect. I know for a fact most businesses that practice pawning, buying and selling wouldn't give you the time of day since it is that very same education of value that these other establishments use to rip you off. To the main managers Richie, Matt, and Jordan, I tip my hat to not only you guys, but to your incredible and professional staff at all 3 locations. You guys do an amazing job and always provide me with impeccable customer service. I appreciate you all and look forward to doing more business with you and your team soon. God bless Team Fast Cash, you guys are truly the best at what you do. Thank you and keep up the great work! In summation, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL !!!

Which is true of the majority of people that visit a pawn shop. They will tell you your items are worth way less than they are. If you sell a ring with a diamond in it, they tell you the diamonds are worth nothing and they are just throwing them out. Meanwhile, they have a bag full of diamonds they take to sell in the diamond district. They will cut your jewelry apart and then tell you the price. Make gouges in your pieces of jewelry for testing even when they are clearly marked and wouldn't need to be acid tested when viewed by an actual expert. Employees are rude and demeaning. They have difficulty performing basic tasks: doing eBay searches for items, matching items, pricing items, acid testing. One female employee claimed she'd have to wait for Richie to acid test a pocket watch my husband and I brought in. When we were perplexed as to why an employee of a pawn shop was unable or unwilling to acid test, she relented, and in the process of her testing it, she managed to gouge it. Also, instead of testing for 14k, she used the 18k acid. We left with the piece and took it somewhere else for a second opinion and it's 14k. To sum up, just incompetent and rude people. I'm going to open a store and call it Faster Cash. We'll pay $20 more a pennyweight for gold. Also, we'll not treat everyone like we're better than them. Especially when they are going through a difficult time. We won't take your knife, pay you $20, tell you we're doing YOU a favor, and turn around and sell it for $500. True story.
