He was punctual, professional and really easy to work with. I appreciate he didn't do a rush job. He takes the time to prep everything properly, patch trouble spots, and make sure the surfaces are ready to paint. Prep work was key for a great result. His crew left the job site tidy at the end of each day. He really takes pride in his work and I'm glad I chose him for the job. My house looks better than it did when I bought it. The lines are crisp, the color is even, and there's isnt a drip or missed spot anywhere. I remember my next door checking the new paint job out. Will recommended that I go with Sherwin Williams gauntlet grey and it was a great pick. If you're looking for someone who actually cares about doing the job right, Will is an outstanding choice!

Responding to Rachel C…read more I understand your concern for your friend and I do not discount your feelings towards the situation. But I am concerned this may be a case of mistaken identity. All of our standard homes are designed to shed snow away from entrances and we do put foundation vents in the best spot on every home to avoid snow shed. Our crew leaders actually do not cut vents during rough framing until it is discussed with a site manager prior on every home. This is the only reason I am questioning whether it is one of our homes, because if it is a standard home, there certainly would be no snow shed into entrance ways. However we are also fully custom home builders (in addition to our standard plans) and even give clients the option to add customized preferences on to our standard homes- which may include additional covered areas and decks. We take great care in the early stages of the project while working with our clients to design the home of their dreams. When the conversation comes up that their dream may include snow shed into an entrance way, the time is always taken to explain it will create additional snow removal and we will encourage other options. If the client is adamant then we of course yield, as this is their vision for a Colorado Dream Home. Additionally- some home owners associations require accent features which can create additional snow shed if a certain location is insisted upon. This is not to blame your friend, if we did build this home, I am just explaining our process. Forced air heating is standard in all of our homes, and we pride ourselves on energy efficient building, accomplished with 12" thick R-38 insulated walls as opposed to the standard 6" thick walls. This cuts the amount of propane fill ups you will need through a year in half. Specifically in the winter. We install many fireplaces, both gas and wood burning, but they are an option to the client. We are just coming out of a classic pagosa winter this season and can relate with the hardships (and joy in the absolute beauty) that comes with it- we received feedback from some of our most recent home owners that they were happy they had a snow shed roof designed to drive snow away from the building and were not having to shovel out of their front door every other day as a neighbor appeared to be. Please do not take my response as a sharp defense or criticism, I just was taken aback seeing it because we do put much care into the design of our homes, specifically, for snow shed and wanted to at least explain our process. We appreciate any additional feedback, please feel free to call our office and we can put you in touch with someone who can answer any additional questions you may have. Excellent work done by Alpine Chimney Sweeps!…read more A co-owner of the company showed up on time, did a thorough assessment of the insert and chimney, and made valid recommendations for safety measures we can implement. The price for work and knowledge is excellent too! The design of our insert and chimney is unusual, but the sweep did not waste my time like others have, by complaining that the system should have been made better. He assessed it thoroughly, gave me a good estimate of the time cleaning would take and why, then got to work and cleaned it exceptionally well. We discussed some options for ensuring that one necessary upgrade (previously known) can be made with specific materials. This was kindly offered although the work requires another vendor, so Alpine stood to gain nothing but my respect, gratitude, and a return customer. I've already referred friends!

I was particularly impressed with Bryce's meticulous approach to his work. Specifically, his team discovered some minor issues hidden behind/underneath the previous builder's construction. Instead of covering up past problems, Bryce walked us through the challenges and proposed some minor, very reasonable adjustments to our contract to ensure a sustainable, quality finished product. My wife selected some very unique tiles (shape [not rectangular], texture, etc.) and shower features, but nothing was too complicated for this contractor. Ultimately, we ended up with a shower we love; we'll be showing it off to visitors. For the price and quality, we couldn't be any more pleased with outcome. 5-STARS; I highly recommend this team.
