It's not just fantastic fresh good food that this charming, gentle nation gives us, their skill at massage is a wonderful gift to us too. My wife and I were side by side on mattresses laid on a wooden floor in a pleasant warm room. The smell of eucalyptus pervaded the room, a koala bear would be right at home here. As massage recipients we are given loose, comfortable clothes by our charming hosts and we lie down on these firm mattresses on the floor. There's soothing Thai music in the background; steady in tempo, regular in pulse. As we begin the massage I think it's like a gentle or mostly gentle form of wrestling. We go through various positions in a variety of yoga-like positions during the course of the massage, with deep static & rhythmic pressures forming the core of the massage. The masseur leans on my body using hands and straight forearms, locked at the elbow to apply firm rhythmic pressure. The massage generally follows designated lines in the body as I lie eyes closed and relaxed. The masseur uses her legs and feet to fix the body and limbs in wrestling style locks In other positions, hands fix the body, while the feet do the massaging action, including rhythmic pressing and stretching of the entire body. Today this has included, twisting my back, pulling my fingers, toes, ears, cracking the knuckles, walking on my back, and manipulating me into many different positions. Then, all too soon, the short hour is up. Green tea offered and accepted. A perfect end to an all too brief history of time.

Myself and my boyfriend went yesterday for massages and we both felt that these were the best massages we had ever had (we are both in our late 50's!) We both had slightly different treatments as he has problems with his feet and neck and I have problems with my shoulders and back. Lin and Nii both used hot oils and warm towels and kneaded with their hands and arms to get to the problem areas. They both identified where we needed treatment and worked on the relevant areas. My massage was uncomfortable as my muscles were so tense but Lin assured me that things would feel better the day after. We paid 30 each for an hour's massage. We were both so relaxed when we came out that we fell asleep when we got home and today I was much more mobile than normal - my neck and back have felt a lot more supple. For anyone wanting to relax or relieve tense muscles I would whole heartedly recommend Lin and her masseurs - they are very genuine and professional.

I first made an appointment over the phone and the staff on the line were professional and an appointment was made on my preferred date. When I arrived, it was early but the place was already quite busy but the staff remained calm and friendly. The reception/waiting area was beautifully furbished, clean and well-maintained. While I was waiting, a lady came to water the plants and pluck out dead leaves and a handyman came to fix/clean the air conditioner. The waiting room was infused with some aromatherapy smell and played relaxing "massage/yoga" music. They had professionally printed treatment lists and literature, which gave me confidence that they would be offering a high standard of service. The prices are very reasonable. You could even purchase a £30 for £60 deal on the Yelp App and if you Check-In here, you get 40% off your first treatment! (I will almost definitely be treating myself again after this visit!)
