I really enjoyed just walking from room to room hearing the floorboards creak and imagining what it must have sounded like when it was full of students and teachers. I read a sign that stated kids under 12 are free and the regular entrance fee is $6 per person which is really reasonable. There is so much artifacts in this one place that it would take more than the hour that we spent viewing it all. There are about 3 front access parking spaces in front of the entrance but more than likely you will have to find street parking and walk. You can also view a small movie that is in 3 segments of about 16 mins to learn more about the area and how it came about. Overall this is a great place to visit and support.

This year I chose to purchase some 1OZ Silver ingots that Commemorate the train engines that serviced VC in the late 1800's. The staff, Lucy and Lorraine were great for a lot of reasons. Two days later I decided to complete the set of 7 ingots after only purchasing 3 the first visit. I called Lorraine from down in Bridgeport and bought the last 4 ingots. She was great on the phone and said that she would ship the last 4 on Friday. Lucy and Lorraine are the best and I will be back in May 2022. Thank you Lorraine and Lucy. Uniforms and the firefighting equipment used during those periods have been preserved. You can even see photos of real firefighters from back in the day. Maybe you're a bit like me. I can stare at old pictures for ages and try to imagine what everything was like back then. Yes, this museum is in a very small building and doesn't have any "hands-on" attractions. But, I believe it is a wonderful slice of Comstock history and should be savored like a fine aged wine or a valued friendship standing the test of time. Got the chance to do the Edgar Allan Poe speakeasy at Piper's house in Virginia City 8 PM showing…read more We had multiple friends go to the 4 o'clock and the 6 o'clock event which was running behind so I can only imagine how late this was going to start. Tickets said be ready at 7:30 Show starts promptly at 8 PM , we are let in the theater at 8:30. Show started just before 9pm. Overall was a great experience would totally do it again. Cocktails were great on Bianco's perfect great job.
