Photographer-We also had our picture taken together. We purchased a package, and the photographer had keychains and a photo ready to go before we left for the evening. This was a nice souvenir for my mother-in-law's birthday. Food-My mom commented that her chicken piccata was the best she ever had. They make nice dinner dishes with prompt friendly service. Since school is out for the winter break, you can find garage covered parking or outside parking. Both parking options require a short walk to the performing arts center. When we arrived we were able to take our annual picture inside with the six foot tall nutcrackers, then headed to our seats. I'm pretty sure every seat here offers you a decent view of the stage. This year we sat one row away from the stage. I will say for me and this was our own doing, that was a bit too close and my neck was starting to bother me. The location is beautiful, the seats are comfortable, and the acoustics are great.

After 5 years at another dance studio, we had to face facts and make a change. There's no question that moving to The Florida Ballet was the right decision. The attention to proper form, the patience, the barre work---all stellar! Explanations on what your body should be doing, the mechanics of correct position and posture was illuminating. The instructor was hands on, changing incorrect form as it was happening and giving concise and clear tips on how to fix whatever move they were learning/practicing. Instructor was friendly and very professional. Kind and patient with the girls but never relaxing the high standards she obviously expected. We are thrilled with what we witnessed tonight and are confident this studio can make up for the wasted year or two at the last one. Viva ballet!

Another patron ended up leaving the theatre to find out what was happening. 2) the seats share a cup holder and armrest with your neighbor. It made it awkward sitting next someone I didn't know and I felt like I was bothering her everytime I reached for my drink. Every seat should have 2 individual armrests and more space in between. (Maybe some seats can be designated as cozy ones). 3) bathroom trash was overflowing. Otherwise the seats were somewhat comfy and even can be heated. I loved being able to reserve what seat I wanted ahead of time and you can order food too. Oh and they have beer and wine! Nothing is better than popcorn and beer for dinner haha!

The instruction was a bit too fast-paced for my 8 year old son, however. The second teacher was a drum teacher and his instruction was more slower paced and his instructions clear. Unfortunately, my son decided he wasn't going to do music classes anymore. So we settled for buying my son a keyboard and a drum and let him rock it out own his own terms.

I can honestly say that signing up classes at Bittersweet was one of the best decisions I ever made. Everyone, including the other students, are incredibly supportive and welcoming. I have been coming for over a year and I look forward to every class. As a bonus I'm stronger than I've ever been and feel great. Please keep in mind that the negative reviews posted are primarily by people who are not students at Bittersweet. They spoke with someone on the phone, were late for class and wanted money back, signed contracts without reading them, didn't want to participate in warmup (which is essential for preventing injury and performance) or wanted to be put in advanced classes without meeting the standards set by the instructors for good reason - to assure safety and prevent injury. Students wrote glowing reviews because the studio deserves them.
