Since school is out for the winter break, you can find garage covered parking or outside parking. Both parking options require a short walk to the performing arts center. When we arrived we were able to take our annual picture inside with the six foot tall nutcrackers, then headed to our seats. I'm pretty sure every seat here offers you a decent view of the stage. This year we sat one row away from the stage. I will say for me and this was our own doing, that was a bit too close and my neck was starting to bother me. The location is beautiful, the seats are comfortable, and the acoustics are great.

UNF and Jax World Affair Council provided this experience free to the public (as long as you sign up in advance). The Fine Art auditorium was very nice where the lecture was held; acoustics were wonderful too. It was a miserable weather night to be out but hundreds of people came out in support of this program! After 5 years at another dance studio, we had to face facts and make a change. There's no question that moving to The Florida Ballet was the right decision. The attention to proper form, the patience, the barre work---all stellar! Explanations on what your body should be doing, the mechanics of correct position and posture was illuminating. The instructor was hands on, changing incorrect form as it was happening and giving concise and clear tips on how to fix whatever move they were learning/practicing. Instructor was friendly and very professional. Kind and patient with the girls but never relaxing the high standards she obviously expected. We are thrilled with what we witnessed tonight and are confident this studio can make up for the wasted year or two at the last one. Viva ballet!

We…read moreorganize an event here in Cinemark helped us a lot that you provided us with a table so that we can get the crowd in and out. All of the drinks and popcorn is very reasonable. When I went to the movies, they had a special for $25 when you got a large drink and a large popcorn for the collectible item. And they even offered to give me the collectible items separately and put my popcorn and drink in a regular container. That way it wouldn't mess it up. I also plan on going there to see the new he-man movie. But this theater is very organized I would say that the seats and the layout is very old school. They don't have recliner chairs and don't have much elbow room but for the overall experience, it was pretty good.

I didn't say anything because I was going to wait until the movie actually started. Then, when it did, he tried to shake a 2L of soda, to do who knows what .... Spray it I'm sure. I made a comment. He stopped for a bit. Later on my girlfriend and I were still being bothered by them. He kept farting on her and turning to her going, "Do you like the smell?" I finally (half way through), spoke up and said something. A tenant followed me in and then didn't say a word to them. We ended up leaving the theater. I DID get a receipt to come back to another show time, which is great. HOWEVER, I tried calling to talk to someone about some other things I witnessed, and I was placed on hold. Then I called back and was hung up on 5 times and placed on hold another. Whoever was working during this shift really didn't give a shit. I get it man, you're working a low paying job, in school, young, but most of us did all that too. Grow a pair and do your job. Mind you the staff was great in the beginning and friendly. But when it came down to it, they weren't answering and hanging up the phone on purpose.

If you miss one lesson, they extend the following lesson by 15 minutes. The teachers are OK. The first was a piano teacher. Not very enthusiastic but he was calm and helpful. The instruction was a bit too fast-paced for my 8 year old son, however. The second teacher was a drum teacher and his instruction was more slower paced and his instructions clear. Unfortunately, my son decided he wasn't going to do music classes anymore. So we settled for buying my son a keyboard and a drum and let him rock it out own his own terms.
