The family can't stop talking about his little performance at the recital although he didn't really do a lot of things. I love the Christian aspect of this dance studio. Every time I put on his dance shoes, he knows he is going to his little dance class. It's amazing how much he has opened up from being a shy boy to an outgoing prince! On multiple pages, they kept saying things like, "if you are offended, take it to God in prayer first before coming to management." Okaaaaay... Clearly they've had issues with parents in the past. My daughter's teacher was really sweet, and she enjoyed going to practice each week. About 8 weeks before the recital, I realized that we were going to be out of town for the dress rehearsal for the recital (which are mandatory), but we would be back for the recital itself. It was definitely a mistake on my part, but I thought we had enough advanced notice to inform them, and I knew that my daughter we be able to attend all other rehearsals. I had already purchased a $50 costume, and we had been present and on time to all previous practices, so I took my concerns to the staff. The secretary empathized with me and felt like the issue could be resolved, and suggested I talk to the owner, Jolynda. Once I explained the situation to her, she coldly dismissed me and bluntly said that my 6 year old could not participate in the recital (because she would miss ONE dress rehearsal). Not only was she curt in her response, she then proceeded to express her dissatisfaction in my mistake, and how it was going to mess up the whole dance, now that my daughter wouldn't be performing. "You really should've told us sooner" (at this point, we were 6 weeks away from the recital....). For claiming to be a "christian" dance company, they certainly don't show it. My 6 year old couldn't be in the recital from one missed rehearsal? Unreasonable, but fine. I get it. Rules are rules. Her delivery was just plain awful though. The most un-Christlike I have been treated in a long time. Oh, and the cherry on top? She has a "We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone" posted on her door.... Sounds Christlike, doesn't it? I should've trusted my instincts from the get-go when filling out the paper work that was PLASTERED in policies about praying before being offended.

I had both of my toddlers with me and as soon as I walked in, instead of putting down the little dog in a cage as the lady was going to for some reason she thought to let him loose. This dog ran across the store after my kids and cornered my screaming, crying, horrified 3 year old in the corner. That was the first and last time I'll be returning back to this place not only for my daughter's love for art but also for any future girls paint night plans I had. This is not how you run a business by keeping your pets inside- specially if they are not behaved. The woman herself couldn't even catch up to the dog because of her own health, so there's no way she was going to stop this crazy dog. The least she could have done was apologize but that never came either. I picked up both my kids and immediately left. Either run a business properly and keep your crazy animals home or give the space to another business - because that's what manteca needs! *Personally I expected a cat given the business name, which I am also allergic too- so I wouldn't come back if that was the case either. *

In Spring 2022, we enrolled our children in ballet classes. After a year of learning, they have…read moreprogressed from knowing nothing to a level where they can represent the school in performances. Our initial intention was to teach our children perseverance and not easily giving up in the process of learning ballet. We wanted them to stand tall and not hunch when they're on their feet. Under the dedicated guidance of Mrs. Chris for over a year, their ballet skills have made significant improvements. They can confidently perform the learned dance steps in the recital which held every six months. As parents, this makes us incredibly proud.

Ballet is an incredible Adult exercise, but it's is all about technique, and Cris is a true professional. My first class was free, and now I'm hooked. This is an excellent adult and child dance studio in the Central Valley!

My daughters first class was an amazing experience for her. She is 3 yrs old. I was able to sit in…read morethe back of the class with her until she felt at ease and then marched right to the front of the class and had an instant connection with Miss Lisa. I waited a few moments let her know I would be right out side the window to watch her. She was totally fine with it and I loved as a parent that I could stay and watch her the entire time. I'm 100% a helicopter mom! So this was a perfect set up for me! You could also sit in another section and watch them dance on a tv screen. If your child is more the hey mom look at me!
