Initially hired Dana for my wedding but after my bride-to-be became my bride-not-to-be I instead had a full day dating profile photo shoot! We went all over the place! From Pioneer Square, to my house in the CD, to Marymoor Park, and finally out into Lake Washington!! She doesn't just take great photos, she's actually great company too! She will put you at ease so you can relax and truly enjoy yourself. Im thrilled with how my pictures came out, and I bet you will be too! Here are a few of my favorites: read more

I've worked with Dana twice now and she's outstanding. TLDR; hire her she is worth every penny. Stop looking for other photographers she's the one to go with. I am a photography snob and extremely picky about it. I hired Dana for boudoir photos before I had a mastectomy and wanted to document what I looked like beforehand as a present to myself. When searching for a boudoir photographer everything looked more or less the same; very posed and unnatural/fake looking. I don't remember how Dana came up in my search but her work was VERY different from everything else I was seeing. Natural, beautiful, and she works with a huge range of body types and looks. When I reached out to schedule I gave her kind of a vague weird aesthetic that she was completely on board for. I could tell when I showed up she'd spent a lot of time preparing and researching and had lots of great ideas for locations. She also spent time with me beforehand workshopping what to wear. She's a pro at putting you totally at ease AND making you feel like you have the kind of look that not only deserves to have boudoir photos taken, but put in a magazine. Not only that but she's downright fun to work with. Both times I've worked with her (once solo and once as a couple for maternity shots) I've been BLOWN AWAY by what we get back. When I had my maternity photos done I felt ridiculous posing with all my stretch marks while I wheezed my way around. Somehow I got back photos of professional models in a Tim Burton movie. I would not hesitate to hire her again and again! read more

Dana is such an incredible photographer - what a talent! She has the ability to see light so perfectly and capture it beautifully. As a fellow photographer, I can be pretty critical of other photograghers, but I knew once I saw her portfolio that I had to work with her. As someone who is very uncomfortable in front of the camera, she made me feel at ease and the photos really are so stunning. They came out better than I had hoped. I would hire her again in a heartbeat for any portrait or event related work. Now I hope to get engaged/married so she can take our pictures! read more

Amazing to work with, patient, and made us feel so at ease! Her photos truly are art, and made my partner and I feel so comfortable, confident, and ourselves. She captured us as we are, but in such an incredibly beautiful way. I could not recommend her enough, and want to echo another reviewer: she is worth every penny. These photos and the time we spent with her are such a positive reminder of our love, joy, and intimacy in all the best ways. read more

Dana has taken photos for me and my husband on 3 different occasions already, and she's exceeded our expectations every time! She is not only super nice and comfortable to work with, but she's very talented at making the most of natural light in Seattle, which can be really tricky during the rainy months, and with executing a creative vision that I have, even if the Inspo images aren't very similar to her normal style. Will definitely keep coming back to Dana for all my photo needs! read more

Dana and I worked together a few years ago at a Seattle photography studio and when she left the studio to pursue her own photography business I knew someday I would want to work with her again professionally or as a client. The day finally came shortly after I was proposed to, I reached out to Dana for a boudoir shoot as a wedding gift for my husband. In our pre-shoot planning session I provided a short list of ideas and inspiration including a request to try to capture some sci-fi inspired shots. On the day of the shoot we had a blast and Dana did a fantastic job capturing a collection of unique and authentic photos and though I only saw a few sneak peaks I knew the photos were everything I had hoped they would be. The experience was so positive that I plan to do another shoot with Dana in the future. After reviewing the photos with Dana and receiving the digital album I just couldn't wait to surprise my husband. So instead I sent him a digital photo or two every day for a month leading up to the wedding and surprised him with the final printed album a few days before our wedding. It meant so much to him and I have Dana to thank, I wouldn't have done a boudoir shoot with anyone else. read more

Working with Dana was so much fun!!! She definitely made me feel at ease during the shoot and knew how to pose me to ensure we got the best photos possible. I love that she provides all of the photos that turn out great from the shoot, unlike a lot of other photographers who only provide a limited number of photos back. She was super flexible with the venue for the shoot and knew how to make the best of the space. I am so happy I chose to go with her for this experience. Highly recommend!! read more

Dana and I have worked closely in a variety of dynamics: Dana as Photographer and Myself as her Retoucher, Dana as Photographer and myself as the Subject. Dana's positive, upbeat attitude spanned across each and every interaction we had and I truly miss working with her. Dana's drive and creativity skyrocket above most. I am proud of the projects we have worked on together and I know Dana will succeed in whatever she puts her mind to. read more

Dana has a way of creating a space for magic to happen. I have done a few boudior shoots with Dana and it can be super scary to wear lingerie in front of someone you hardly know. For me it felt a little extra scary because I am a larger woman. But there's something about Dana to where you feel like you can be yourself around her. It's easy to trust her vision because time and time again she produces amazing photographs. I would recommend Dana to anyone seeking a photographer. She is a phenomenal at what she does and is a lovely person to be around. read more

Hired Dana to take a shoot of me on the OR coast. I'm almost 60 and hoped to capture just a tiny bit of my former glory. I went into it scared and apprehensive. But it was the most amazing experience and I walked away with a new love for myself. Dana has a talent that goes beyond being a genius behind the camera. I couldn't be happier with my photos and the change in my outlook was a true and unexpected bonus. read more

My husband and I had a boudoir photo shoot with Dana and I would highly recommend her. She is a bubbly young lady and we enjoyed the entire experience. I had done a boudoir shoot before and kinda knew what to expect but my husband had not and was a little nervous. From the moment we met Dana we were at ease and knew we were in good hands. She walked us through her entire process, made sure we understood everything and most of all that my husband was comfortable. She assisted in securing a location to shoot, along with hair and makeup. All we did was show up. The day was so fun and comfortable and both my husband and I enjoyed the shoot. The photos turned out beautifully and better than I could of imagined. Dana is a true professional and extremely talented artist. After the shoot Dana helped us design photos to hang in our home as well. read more
