My wife and I were looking to buy a rental property from out of state and Tiffany was prompt in getting back to me (always a great first start), we chatted with a couple agents but Tiff was easy to talk to and had a few strategies we liked out of the gate. And she was an ASU grad so bonus points! We narrowed in on a budget, cities, and showing strategy (we bought sight unseen due to how competitive it is right now so coming to view each property didnt make sense) so virtual tours were key. We put trust in her to look at the house, point out any red flags and give offer advise. She even talked us away from one house we wanted to offer on which is good in my opinion, that's why you hire someone with industry experience, so we really appreciated that it wasn't just ablut closing a deal. We had specific requirements so after looking for about a month, she ended up finding us a beautiful house in Tempe before it hit the market and negotiated with the seller to work out a deal. We 100% would not have got that house if it wasn't for her and may still be looking today. We're very happy, and finally met her in person on inspection day. But I would not be doing due diligence to the public if I didnt make an attempt to clarify my most recent and direct experience with Arizona Best and Marianne Bazan. You will get all of the gushy and mushy talk about how much they will be "working" for you, lots of time spent with you on warming you up to sign with them, I mean the red carpet will be rolled out. Beware! The moment you sign, in my direct experience here folks, the agent disappeared like a cat burglar! She persuaded me to hire a contractor to do some completely unnecessary repairs to the unit, I later found out they are personally involved and kicking back commission to each other, fine I get it things happen this way in a commission based business, but at least PRETEND to be ethical. Further, the contractor ducked out in the middle of the job with the agent leaving me to fend for myself with the buyer's agent. Um..hello?!! Doesn't an "agent" do agency work and negotiate a deal? Nope, in this case she left it up to me!! Crazy! But when I asked about her commission, it was crickets, once again she disappears. This real estate agency is one of the saddest and most unprofessional companies I have ever worked with, Ive never heard or seen this type of dealing in the real estate world after 20 years of transactions in multiple states. I would not be surprised if they get shut down by federal authorities. Run, do NOT WALK and go to a national company not a mom and pop shop like this. BAD BAD BAD business!
