However after my review, and although it was never said, I arrived home one day to find Amos waiting for me to make things right. I'd like to think that my review had nothing to do with it but it was clear after the work was done, and a comment was made about Yelp, that it had everything to do with my review. Either way, it all worked out in the end. He did the job and I'm happy with the results. While a tad alarmed to come home and find someone unannounced they did send the right gentleman to make things right. I was very upset with this company and for his cold call initially but did end up giving him the job. Why? Because he said all the right things, admitted fault with miscommunication within their company, and made it clear that he would do whatever to make things right. Which included a discount (although I didn't have a prior estimate for comparison so I'm taking his word for it), bumping me up on the schedule, and spending the time with me to gain my trust. Amos is truly an asset to this company, very professional and knowledgeable, not only with the type of work his company does, but also happy to recommend other reputable contractors. Now that the work is done I'm happy I trusted him and am glad he came and made things right. I've had strangers walk by and comment about how nice my railing looks and how identical it is to the original, which was wood and about 95 + years old. The profile, and every last little detail, including the round rosette type molding to the pillars were replicated in vinyl. The color is perfect too. I wasn't home when he came, and actually was surprised by the install date but they left my highly decorated porch (which wasn't prepped in the least for the install) as I left it, clean and without damage. I would use them again for future needs and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them (and have to our neighbors who might do the same thing), only I'd deal with Amos directly.

We got a few estimates from different places, the big box store that rhymes with foam repo, and a couple of smaller general contractors. None of their offerings were really appealing to us because of the product as well as the prices. My wife found Paramount's website online and we liked what we saw and right off the bat, I appreciated how Robert, the owner of the company, communicated and was super responsive. Our first meeting didn't go as planned because of the distance, however, I was able to send Robert a sketch that was done for another estimate so he could have an idea of the dimensions and give us some numbers based on that. Within a couple of hours, I had proposals in my inbox and links to his fence manufacturer. We requested quotes in other designs and got quick responses. Our face to face meeting was great and Robert brought samples along for us to see the difference in colors and textures which was helpful because seeing something in person vs seeing it in print is a big factor in making a decision. One thing I appreciated was Robert not trying to sell us something. The quotes that we requested varied in prices by $3-4000 because of the different color and material options available. I think that we would have gotten the same level of professionalism and courtesy weather we got a 4' wooden fence or a two tone privacy fence with special toppers and glitter (none of his fences have glitter, I was just trying to juxtapose). We had a couple of last minute changes and Robert was on it. The man is about his business, which I appreciate! His website even says he's not interested in being good, he wants to be excellent! The materials were delivered on the promised date and the work got started on time. Truth be told, the first day of the job, things were a little bumpy. Robert called to check on how things were going and he realized that an adjustment needed to be made. The next day, he sent a crew of four guys headed up by Matt. Matt must moonlight as a hotel concierge, OBGYN, bartender or guidance counselor because the man is good with people. Any uneasy feelings that we had on the first day were erased after a 5 minute walk through with Matt. Matt. I just wanted to mention his name again because he's THAT good! We had a tricky layout on one side because of trees and tree roots,but he was able to work out a solution that looked elegant, functional and professional. Matt! After three days, the work was finished and my wife an I feel like we have a new back yard. We are beyond pleased with the quality of work, the look of the materials, the price of the job and the overall experience of dealing with everyone involved. If you're a first time homeowner, this is the kind of company you need to deal with. These guys are all great and you're in good hands. If you're a veteran homeowner, then these are your guys.

The first job was removal and replacement of a split rail fence, and replacement parts on an old metal fence. The first time I called, Jacob came out to give me an estimate within a few days. He scheduled me within a few weeks and the job was done in a day. All old fencing removed, new fence is rock solid. And the replacement parts are working great on the old metal fence. The second job was replacing a few lengths of the metal fence. I called Jacob and he came out the next day or so to give me an estimate. It was a small job so they were able to come out sooner than later and get it done. The new lengths of fence match perfectly and the posts they installed are again rock solid. This company came recommended by a neighbor and I also highly recommend Chester County Fencing.

I took away 1 star they otherwise would have…read morereceived because when the fence was installed, and the balance was due to be paid, I contacted them to confirm what the balance was, and I didn't get a quick response (actually, no response - they said they'd get back to me and didn't). Turned out that the installer actually had it on his phone, which I didn't realize, and he hadn't mentioned. So I had to take the time to go back to my email exchange with them and checking the contract to determine what I owed. Very nice fence, installed on schedule.
