When God opens a door, no computers can stop His plan! After moving from West Covina to Hemet, CA, I started looking for someone to do my hair. I couldn't seem to find anyone, so I began searching for barbers and stylists in the Rancho Cucamonga area. That's when Epic Hair Quarters came up in the listings. I scrolled down, saw Damon's name, and read some of his reviews from his customers. I prayed about it and received confirmation that this was the place I was supposed to go. And let me tell you--this place was nowhere near where I had attended church for over 15 years at Patria Church, but God knew exactly where He was sending me! For the past year, I've been losing hair around the crown of my head. I wanted a short cut, color, and perm, and I wanted my crown covered as best as possible. Fast forward to this week. I tried to book an appointment for Friday, but Damon was booked. On Tuesday, I checked and he wouldn't have anything available until the following week in the morning. On Wednesday, I checked again, and there it was--a 10:00 AM appointment available for Friday! I tried to book it online, but I was having trouble. So I called, and guess who answered? Damon! I left Damon a message and he called back within 5 minutes -- apologizing for having missed my call and not being immediately available! After my previous experience with that barber who-shall-not-be-named, Damon was already a breath of fresh air. Great service and he was very accommodating. I wasn't 100% sure what I wanted and he was willing to sit and chat about it until a style was picked. I knew I wanted a cut and color but I also wasn't sure what color to go with (I had about 1/2inch of blondish hair and 1/2 inch of my natural deep dark brown shade-1B)and in one sitting he was able to lift my hair to a really pretty blonde. All the 5 star reviews for Damon are definitely correct and well earned. I live in Orange County and there are not many choices for good barbers in OC. Now it is a drive; depending on traffic, to get up to Rancho Cucamonga from Orange or Riverside or LA counties but it is definitely worth it. The first thing you notice as a new client is that everyone in the Salon and Barber shop are actually nice, friendly and welcoming. Anyone who has lived in So Cal for any time knows that nice and friendly folks are not the norm nowadays. I initially got my hair undercut done at a hair salon and, while I liked the style, I had to admit the service wasn't the best when I found strands of long hair at the base of my neck. I found Damon on here after searching for a barber for a while.
