We ate dinner here our first night visiting Guttenberg due to only two places being open for dinner on Thursday. The music was blasting inside so we ate outside on their patio overlooking the river. The bartender / waiter was super friendly and took good care of us during our stay. Our food came out fast and was hot but had too much season-salt on all the burgers. They have a gem here if they would clean it up and up their game a bit. Right now if we it's a drinking bar so sit outside of you go with kids. read more

We stopped in on a whim- 6 of us on motorcycles that were hungry, thirsty, and prefer locally owned establishments over chain restaurants where the food all tastes the same. WOW!! The pizza is homemade- we ordered a Canadian sauerkraut pizza and added pineapple. This pizza was the perfect blend of sweet and salty, tangy, and seasonings. The cheese was gooey, the crust was crispy. Best pizza I've ever had, and I'm a pizza fanatic! The bloody Mary's were great, the beers cold, the burgers large and tasty. First time at this bar on the river. The burgers were big, juicy and delicious. Sweet potato fries and cheese curds excellent. There were two awesome waitresses--ours was Kim and she was pleasant and efficient. Will go here every time we are anywhere near Guttenburg. read more

I so enjoyed the Mississippi River view while eating supper on the deck. I do wish they did something to take care of all the spiders--the rails and tables were covered. I had some nachos that were pretty decent. Good vibes. Neat decor. But zero COVID-19 prevention/protection. read more

0 star..... Shitty service, shitty menu, shitty food. Half our group got food before we did, we then got our appetizer when four were done eating, the other two in the group got their pizza an hour later and ended up taking it to go, after they wanted them to pay for it, got it home and it was wrong the wrong pizza. We had to ask multiple times about the status of our food, the waitress was sitting inside at the bar when we went in to request for her to take the dirty plates while we waited for the couple to get their pizza. Then to top it off the waitress came out and said "are you ready for your tickets or do you need anything else?"..... we replied, "we are still waiting for the pizza so we will wait on tickets"... she walked away. Dirty, stinky and nasty place. I would not recommend this to anyone. read more

Received one star only because I couldn't give NO stars. Horribly rude bartender overcharged me. When I tried to explain it to the intellectually challenged woman, she was even ruder and said it was the computer that told her what to charge. I showed her the menu and asked her to do the math. My mistake- this was too challenging for her. She then rang up the items again, realized her error, and essentially threw the money she owed me at me. Long wait for the food. ZERO star rating. Terrible unfriendly service. One waitress was very rude. When we asked to order food, she gave us an evil stare and replied in a bad manner that she had not more menus. Over-charged too and took some time to get our $10+ back because she had already thrown away the receipt and couldn't print again because the bill was already closed out. read more

Hadn't been here in awhile so thought we'd give it another shot. Had seen FB advertising that it was redecorated etc. went down for live music (band The Lovehandles were really fun and personable with the crowd; could've benefited from some of that FB advertising.) They get 5 stars. The bar not so much. Started out ok enough. Downhill from there. We had the same 2 drinks all night and were never charged the same price twice. Then there's the bartenders. While bartender #1, Crystal, was good, #2 JP (or maybe it was JT? Had blue hair, which was cool enough) was an outright jerk. He was rude and slovenly and kept drinking/doing shots while working. He offended my friend so much with his attitude that she stopped drinking altogether. (After the couple next to us was served he actually threw their change at them) Truthfully they were both drinking on the job. Not cool. Then some other girl (employee? Customer?) hopped behind the bar, tears flowing, and he "comforted" her by simulating sex with her bent over in front of him. In full view of all customers. It was pretty uncomfortable but they seemed to be enjoying themselves. As a side note it was pretty dirty. The popcorn machine possibly hasn't been cleaned since '99. Skip this one and head across the street to Moxie's. They have quite the cast of characters and I mean that in a good way! read more
