We hired Hanover to install luxury vinyl floors in our kitchen and laundry room to match the job…read morethey did in other parts of our home in 2020. When we went to the showroom to discuss the flooring, we found out that Hanover also remodels kitchen and bathrooms. We met with their designer (Jessica) and were pleasantly surprised with the plans and the price was reasonable (they were the best quote out of 4 companies). We were impressed with the contractors and technicians that worked in our home and felt as if they treated our home as their home. The Project Manager (Nicole) was easy to work with and immediately handled any and all questions we had during the remodel. We would feel comfortable and confident in recommending Hanover to our friends and family.

I would ask that if you are looking at Hanover for flooring and/or bathroom remodeling, please find…read moreanother company because if you go with Hanover you will not be satisfied. The quality of the end product would rate about a 1 1/2 star but getting to the end product would rate a zero star. From Hanover we got a closet floor installation and bathroom remodel (turning a bathtub into a walk in shower). The communication with the company was horrendous. We never knew when a tech or contractor was coming and sometimes the notice that someone was coming would come the night before they came. We would go days without hearing anything and most times would not get our messages answered. This project was started mid-May and was completed in July after several reworking the grouting and disagreements on the construction flaws. Not even mentioning the pipe in the floor that they cracked and had to replace. The only time you will get on-time communication from them is when it is time to pay. If you have a discrepancy it will be addressed either days after your notifying them of the discrepancy or not at all. You will be highly disappointed if you go into business with Hanover. I really wish I could give them lower than a 1 star because they don't deserve a 1 star.

Pros: The estimate was provided promptly, and the work was completed quickly at a reasonable price…read more Cons: I had some issues with slipperiness of the pavers, however the company has since made it right.

Consumer beware!!…read more I'm extremely disappointed with my experience with Tropical Paver Sealing LLC. What started as a straightforward project quickly turned into a frustrating experience marked by delays, poor communication, and a lack of professionalism. The estimator came to my home to measure the project, which included sealing my pool deck and stripping/sealing my driveway pavers, walkway, and porch. During the visit, I was told the company was offering a 20% spring sale discount. I also asked whether they offered a military discount and was told they did -- an additional 10%. The estimator stated I would receive the estimate that same day or by the following day. Instead, it took three days to arrive. When I finally received the estimate, the 20% promotional discount had been applied, but the military discount was not included. Since the estimator had already confirmed that military discounts were offered, I accepted the estimate less the additional 10% discount and asked about scheduling the work. After that, several days passed with no response. I then reached out by phone and text with a few reasonable questions before moving forward. I requested proof of insurance, including issuance of a Certificate of Insurance (COI), and asked what precautions would be taken to prevent potential runoff and/or overspray from the sealer onto exterior walls and windows due to windy conditions, as well as runoff / overspray into my pool that could enter and flow into the skimmer causing damage to internal piping cartridge etc. These are standard concerns any homeowner should be able to discuss before work begins. Three days later, instead of answering my questions or addressing my concerns, the company abruptly decided not to move forward with the project. No meaningful explanation was provided. Because of this last-minute decision, I lost an entire week that could have been spent finding and scheduling another contractor. If the company had no intention of taking on the project, that should have been communicated upfront instead of wasting a customer's time. Homeowners rely on contractors to be responsive, transparent, and professional. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. Requesting proof of insurance is a completely reasonable step before allowing work to be performed on your property. In Florida, contractors should generally carry general liability insurance and workers' compensation insurance, or provide a valid exemption where applicable. These protections are important for both the homeowner and the workers involved. Based on how this situation was handled, I would strongly encourage others to do their due diligence before hiring this company. I expected professionalism and basic courtesy, but unfortunately received neither. Dave Wilder

Would give them 0 Stars if possible - DO NOT HIRE…read more Unprofessional, Deceptive, and Disrespectful I had one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a service provider when I hired Happy Tree Service. We had a written agreement via text about what would and would not be cut--including a specific, healthy tree that I explicitly said to leave alone. I am the property owner, and that agreement should have been final. Instead, they went ahead and cut it down anyway. Now the owner's son is claiming someone else gave him permission--an excuse I don't believe for a second. Then he had the audacity to double the price and justify it by saying it was because of the tree he wasn't supposed to cut in the first place. That's not just unprofessional, it's manipulative. I also paid for stump grinding, and what they left behind is a complete mess--huge, dangerous trunk remnants scattered across the yard, and a giant mound where the tree once stood. Nothing was leveled as promised. It's unsafe and sloppy. I paid hundreds of dollars for arborist reports that were never delivered. I followed up multiple times and was completely ghosted. The owner's son screams, refuses to fix his work, and literally told me to "take him to court." So I will. This company is dishonest, aggressive, and deeply unprofessional. Do not be fooled by their name--there is nothing "happy" about Happy Tree Service. Stay far away.
