    Butter pecan sundae (small)
    Melitta S.

Stopped on a whim to fill my empty belly. This place did not disappoint!! We came on Sunday afternoon and it was hopping. Definitely a good sign considering Wendy's is across the road. Anyway I got a cheeseburger and we shared an order of fries. I needed to save room for dessert. I mean it is an ice cream stop! The Butter pecan sundae was amazing (got it with vanilla in small) But seriously the Small was more than enough! I love supporting places like this!!!! It's a must stop if in the area

    Fresh cut fries....and crispy!

It is a small road side stand, fair priced, and great food. I had the nightmare which was loaded with just about everything in the restaurant and then some fresh cut fries. All the food was fresh and exactly what I expected it to be The only thing that didn't go well for me is when my wife found out I didn't take her....it was one of her favorite spots growing up. Guess we are making another trip back!

Every time I come to Ohio with my boyfriend's family we get a treat here and I'm always looking forward to it! Great prices, friendly workers that always have a smile on their faces, and delicious ice cream/shakes! I've been here a bunch in the past but this review I'm writing about the strawberry shake. They use real, fresh strawberries and you can tell. My shake was the best shake I've ever had!! I can't wait to take another trip to Ohio just so I can get another shake. If you're in the area or passing through, go here!! You will not regret it! #supportlocal

If you stay in business for 56 years and have the same friendly employees running the window for 12 years straight you must have the recipe for success. This reminded me of my hometown ice-cream shop/ drive-in. Took the suggestion of the woman at the window and tried the Deluxe Nightmare (a cheeseburger/ham sandwich/coney dog) with hand-cut fries and a drink. Everything came out fresh and promptly even though the hand painted sign outside warns "We are not "fast food". All your food hot or cold is prepared to order." Everything was great and the traffic through the Dari-etc was non-stop even at 3-3:00 in the afternoon. Great little place to stop in.

The restaurant is located in the buildings basement and looks like a mix between a classic diner and a semi modern coffee shop. We ordered the flaming Greek cheese to share and I got the secret beef meal while my mom ordered the gyro plate. I also got some of their chicken and rice soup of the day. All the food was incredible. The flaming Greek cheese isn't just a great show it's also rich and powerful with a nice crisp and the lemon juice they squeeze on not blends perfectly with the cheeses natural flavor. The secret beef meal was also amazing the beef was fall apart tender and it as well as the mushrooms and rice were coated in a rich gravy that made every bite a treat. My mom also really enjoyed her gyro plate. My soup was also very good it had good portions of chicken and was a milder dish to compliment my stronger items. The experience here was great the staff are all super friendly and you can tell the local residents come often because the staff and customers were chatting and having a good time. We will definitely return here in the future.

This stop, intended for a quick breakfast on our way to Columbus, was quite a letdown…read more * Service Speed: Our experience was anything but quick; it took over 30 minutes to receive a simple egg sandwich and a side of mush. * The Food: The egg sandwich was great, made with genuinely fresh bread. However, the side of mush was awful. Despite being advertised as freshly made, it arrived deep-fried and completely tasteless. * Atmosphere: The restaurant itself looks a little run down, featuring minimal patrons and, strangely, a half-price gift shop. Overall, the wait was excessive, and the highly-touted mush was a major disappointment.

VERY SMALL BUFFET AND NONE OF THE FOOD WAS MEMORABLE. 3 tables had customers seated @ noon on a Wednesday. Roast beef was completely shredded (no pieces) Very small salad bar with NO SWEET & sour dressing. Gave us one tiny container of apple butter & one tiny container of peanut butter spread for four large pieces of bread. THE GOOD PART: noodle soup was full of noodles, fresh warm, homemade bread was brought to the table. They had pieces of several kinds of fruit pie & three kinds of cookies to choose from for dessert.
