It is with high praise and great pleasure that I endorse Investigative Services / David Cohen…read more I met David Cohen of Investigative Resources, on a Sunday flight to Dallas/Ft Worth. His personable demeanor helped to initiate a conversation that revealed to me that he was a private investigator. At the urging of my friend, I related to David the story of my estranged nephew that I had not seen in more than 30 years and had no luck finding him. I had pretty much given up. Speaking with David reignited my desire to search for him again. As expected, David offered his services. What was unexpected was what followed. David asked me several routine questions about my relative that I was unfortunately unable to answer with any degree of certainty. For example I did not know my nephew's full birthdate, just the approximate month and year. I knew his mother's name, but not her birthdate or any previous addresses. I knew the names of two of his siblings, but nothing more. Within two days, David contacted me with positive phone number and address matches for both my nephew and his mother. I was completely blown away by the speed with which he supplied this information given the amount of information I provided him. With only a partial birthdate and a few related names, David sent me on my way with more than enough to further the search. It then became my responsibility to use the information I was provided to continue the search. Despite several of the phone numbers being disconnected (as expected), I still have sufficient information to continue the search and sustain my hope of reconnecting with my nephew soon. To say that I appreciate him would be an understatement. He is a compassionate individual with a heart of gold. He proved himself to be quite resourceful and a man of his word. He has provided me a renewed confidence that I can finally provide closure to a situation that has loomed for more than three decades. It's for these reasons that I highly recommend his services.

He gave me addresses that i literally looked online myself and confirmed that she was not at, refused to even give partial refund. When i tell him these are old addresses he asks ME if I have any other ideas? Sir this is YOUR line of work ! I hired you because I've hit a dead end. Paid him and less than an 30 mins this is what he comes up with. When i was displeased with the results he kind of goes off on me and accuses me of accusing him of stealing ppls money and saying that im "faulting" him for the girls "cowardness"?!?! That was really weird Then i ask if he can go to her last known address just to see if she may have changed units, he literally tells me it's an EXTRA $125/hr Complete waste of money. No new information was given and we are out $250 and still have no new leads on my stepsons whereabouts Update: he seen this review within 10 mins emailed me this, please read attached photo Updating in response to Mr. Wilson's response: Now Mr. Wilson, please do not get on here lying. I literally have the messages where I told you that we have not seen her since January meaning any information before that was already known, in those same messages I let you know that she does not keep her information current and you still proceeded to take my money, you absolutely did not give us any information that we did not already know! When you did the research of her mother's home, I Let you know that that was the last place she was. For 250 I would think you would follow up on an address that we're telling you about especially since nothing came out of the "comprehensive search" You couldn't even provide me with the receipt for your services, you are beyond unprofessional and i would not recommend you to anyone. DO NOT BE FOOLED THIS MAN IS A LIAR AND MANIPULATOR, he has people write good reviews so he has a high rating, and I absolutely DID report you, there you go lying again. You are disgraceful, you just take peoples money, refer to the bad reviews and see how he ACTUALLY takes advantage of people in an already awful situation. If I'm lying sue me for defamation.....but you can't because everything I've said is 10% facts. DONT SAY NO ONE WARNED YOU ! RUNNN!

John was able to so quickly determine that her driver's license # was fake and not hers, her social security # was not hers, her relative contacts were fake, and basically she had disappeared into the population of 350M in the US without me even knowing her real name. He then gave me a set of very savvy pieces of advice to never let this happen again - and all this happened with me having a property management company that was supposedly looking out for all these things for me! Thanks to John's help and research, I will never get duped again like this. He was honest, fast, resourceful, and helpful. I will definitely be using John's services again and highly recommend him to others.

I live in Washington, and trying to reach him and establish where he could be found had been extremely difficult. We really needed help, and I depended on having someone in Texas who could do what I couldn't do from here. She presented herself as a professional, and I trusted her. Unfortunately, I spent much of the experience chasing calls, updates, and the report. I would call and be told she would call me back, but those callbacks often never happened. I sent leads and asked for her professional opinion because I needed guidance, but frequently received little response. I often felt left high and dry. Even getting the report required repeated requests. She promised it by the end of the day on June 5. After I followed up again, she sent a draft on June 8 and said her investigators had not yet reviewed it for accuracy. She did provide some updates and report investigative work. I understand that finding someone isn't guaranteed. But returning promised calls, keeping me informed, and explaining where my case stood were reasonable expectations. Eventually, communication stopped altogether. To this day, I have received no further response or explanation that she was closing my case or could no longer help. I was simply left wondering what was happening. This involved my son, and we were already dealing with a painful, complicated situation. Having to repeatedly chase someone we had paid and trusted to help added to that stress. I will be submitting my concerns and supporting documentation to the Texas Department of Public Safety's Private Security program, TALI's Ethics Committee and executive office, the Texas Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division, and the Better Business Bureau. I want my experience formally reviewed and a clear explanation of how my case and payment were handled. Based on my experience, I would not hire Morrison Investigations again or recommend them.
