Made a same day appt. Which is sadly typical for me. I never go until I need to. Which is not smart. I had my FIRST 'Maintinance' appointment scheduled in California in Tuesday but unexpectedly left town Monday evening. And of course, my shoulder blade started to tweak out. It gets tight and numb all the way through my shoulders, arm, and finger tips.
The chiro listened to my issues. Assessed what he thought needed to be done and executed perfectly. I will probably go back next week to make sure everything is back in line. I feel like my neck needs to pop again. He was not an aggressive adjuster which I appreciate.
If you have never been to a chiropractor before I'm telling you now, it's NOT as scary as you think. For me, it doesn't hurt. I go BECAUSE I'm hurting. It's a strange feeling but 99% of the time I feel better by the time I'm walking out the door. No joke.
I'm also a migraine sufferer and getting adjusted has helped decrease the number of migraines I get. Make sure you taken your chiro if you suffer from headaches or migraines!
So take it from me. Go. And then do yourself a favor and schedule another appointment for 4 weeks out. And even if you feel like you don't 'need' it, go anyway. Or be like me and suffer for 2-3 days before you start calling around frantically on vacation praying to find someone with an opening available that I can afford lol. read more
