The shop has a couple of tables inside and there's a terrace right outside with tables, as well as picnic tables further back. I parked across the street, but there may be more parking in the lot next to the restaurant (didn't check myself). I do vegan Mondays, and was able to order a pita with falafel with several veggie toppings and sauces. It was DELICIOUS and filling. The food here is very flavorful and tasty! There is no indoor seating offered but some outdoor seating. I would say price is a bit high for what is literally a to go place (about $15-20) but it is in downtown Bethesda. Negatives - holy cow, this restaurant was insanely hot when I was in there. I felt horrible for the poor workers who have to be in there all day. I don't know if their air conditioning was out or what the day I went, but I hope management fixes it for the workers. Another visit to Dalia's during Summer'26 and another rave review for my go-to meal: Sabich pita and a Spindrift. I can't get enough of the chewy pita pocket stuffed with yummy eggplant and french fries with crispy radishes and veggies. It doesn't look that big, but each bite is a mouthful, and it's the most filling sandwich on my standard rotation. If I have any complaints about Dalia's, it's that they're not open enough hours out of the week - otherwise, I'd be there more often! Hidden gem within the city. Parking is kind of a hassle but you can park at the elementary school after 5pm. Good fresh food and yummy homemade sauces! Definitely filling. The guys inside were so nice and kind as I have multiple questions and few sauce requests. They were accommodating enough to even label the sauces for me! Food was so good that I got full before even finishing my bowl! Even bought my sis a pita home and she said it was pretty yummy as well. It's in a stand-alone brick and mortar cute little yurt/hut shop on the corner right after the big intersection.It's quite cozy inside and there's no seating, only outdoor seating in the back. The house-made crispy flat falafel patties are surprisingly soft and very flavorful while typically most falafel are dense balls. The fluffy pita bread was stuffed with tomatoes, cucumbers, pickled veggies (carrots, onions) and topped with tahini and a little bit of ambar pickled mango sauce. The fried eggplant was quite tasty and the sweetness elevated the flavor and worth the $2 upcharge. Every bite of the pita sandwich was packed with a delicious blend of ingredients and best of all - the sandwich wasn't messy to eat and nothing fell out! The salad bowl is another good option as the falafel is the highlight with the complementary toppings without the heaviness of the pita. The crispy fries are delicious. The garlic aioli is delicious (definitely ask for it!) and the staff kindly gave me extra sides of sauce. The Pita Deluxe combo deal with a fully-loaded pita and crispy eggplant slices, fries, and drink for $15 is well worth it! All of the toppings elevate the flavor. There's a spicy kick! Man was I impressed here! The gentleman that took our order and prepared our meal was an incredible person. Super kind, knowledgeable, and polished. He gave us the background of the business and mentioned how they source organic and locally as much as they can (farmers markets). No seed oils! If memory serves me right they use avocado oil here. Hot tip - you can park there for free after 5pm on weekdays and then you are a very short walk away, if you go through the middle of the plaza! We enjoyed the protein-packed Sabich Deluxe pita and the Moroccan beef kabob bowl. Love all the pickled onions on top to give it some bite, and the spicy schug sauce packs a serious punch! The pita was packed full of goodness, but held together as you eat it - just the right amount of bread. Fries are fresh and tossed with salt and seasonings as you wait. Be aware that there are no restrooms or indoor seating. However the outdoor seating is a dream. In addition to the table and chairs just outside of Dalia's, there's also a slightly sunken plaza a few steps away with lots of places to sit and enjoy your food. The portion size of the bowl was huge. I was able to split it into two smaller portions at home, so I had it for lunch and dinner. The kabobs were tasty as they were. The spicy sauce had a really good kick and the garlic aioli provided a break from my mouth on fire. Knowing now how it came without any customization, next time I would ask for - half the rice and a little bit of the pickled onions and radish. I'd keep the same sauce picks and on the side. Sauce flavor is rather weak, needs stronger garlic in the aioli... from my point of view. My personal opinion is that falafel should have more herbs flavor, aroma. Texture wise should have a bit of coarse chickpeas instead of very smooth texture. Again, that is my preference of what I think falafel should taste like. Falafel balls vs patties might require different preparation that would affect the texture as well. More vs less binder agent for different shape and size. The ordering was done at the counter and there was a choice of either a pita sandwich, rice bowl, or salad bowl. There were a couple of proteins to choose from along with many toppings. I opted for a falafel salad bowl ($12) with all the toppings. It came with two falafel patties, red cabbage, tomato, cucumber, pickles, shredded carrots, onions, and I opted for tahini sauce. The falafel patties were large, but too thin. They were too crunchy. There needed to be more herbs and seasonings present as well. The rest of the salad was good except for the amount of cabbage as it was too much. There could have been a green present. Everybody is talking about Dalia's Felafel in Bethesda. And, their latest new menu item is the Chicken schnitzel pita sandwich. Today, I had lunch with Mike B. who just shot a Yelp reel at Dalia's. The reel captured our very own, (Andrew P.) Community Manager's face as he tried this phenomenal new sandwich. And, his expression says it all, "Wow, this is dynamite!" Okay, I am paraphrasing, but don't just go look at the Yelp reel, go to Dalia's and try it for yourself. It is amazing! Perfectly breaded fried chicken and then, you can add a bunch of delectable additions...mine included pickles, cabbage, tomatoes, and cucumbers. Then, there is this garlic aioli that adds a terrific taste bomb to the sandwich. Yum x4 ! Don't judge me, but a restaurant's fries are extremely important to me. Dalia's fries were hot, crispy, and crunchy. The hallmark of a great restaurant. I inhaled them, they were so yummy! The restaurant is located on Old Georgetown Road and has a lovely garden patio with seats and tables. Service was a delight. They couldn't have been nicer. Food was delivered quickly! I've loved this place since it was a pop-up here (Rockville) and there (Kensington) and am so happy they actually somehow magically (from my point of view, that is!) found a round, falafel-shaped place in which to be -- permanently! I am a great life-long lover of falafel and have had the Israeli kind growing up in Israel, so I can speak to the authenticity of this place, mmm! Dahlia's Falafel seriously hit the spot. We were there for the first time this past Saturday, 01/03/2026. I ordered the falafel and it was packed with all the toppings - fresh, vibrant and layered with flavor in every bite. The falafel itself was crip on the outside, tender inside and help up well even with all the fixings ( no sad, soggy situation here). My husband we with the beef kabob bowl - equally impressive - well seasoned, nicely cooked and served in a generous portion. We could've just shared that one bowl (but glad we didn't). Great for a nice day. Nice outdoor shaded area to eat. I had the chicken pita at the recommendation of the guys inside. It was outstanding. The food is always super fresh and delicious. I usually get the bowl with both falafel and the beef kabobs (which are pretty spicy BTW). However I recently discovered their chicken schnitzel and that is also so good so now I have to rotate my menu items around and pick based on what I am feeling.
