Now with an office in Whitefish and a second in Kalispell the word is out on his professional quality and easy demeanor. I have been to countless dentists across the years. This office contains a level of professionalism and ethics that is hard to find. Dr. Colonna refuses to bend to the practices of insurance companies which may require work that is contrary to the medical care he believes is needed. The result is you will be paying a little more (out of network rates apply). Given his mastery combined with his exquisite work with the laser, your trip to the dentist will be more like wait on a long line for a cup of coffee on a Saturday morning. Instead of a dreadful, painful experience by a retired car salesman now working as a dentist. Pain aside, it is there workmanship you should be most concerned about. Despite multiple major work, he and his team have performed consistently well over the years. Staff turnover is relatively low. Which is a good sign. The quality of hygienist work is good to great. The front office staff is friendly and professional. If they have issues, they do a good job at keeping it on the other side of the counter. Over the years his practice has grown considerably. He has been careful to not let the quality be compromised. But I fear that if it continues he will not be able to maintain that quality across his entire team. There was a time when cleanings could take as long as 1 to 1.5 hours on an easy set of teeth. Now they typically have me in and out in about 30 to 45 minutes for the actual cleaning. Things do seem a bit more hurried but not so much to send me moving on. Not yet anyway. Regardless my teeth seem happy. Overall this is a dentist I am committed too. It would do you good to consider the same. I recognized the name as last year he had done a surgery that went so well for my brother. My son's surgery went just as well- minimal bleeding and nearly zero pain. He sent us home with both verbal and written instructions which included the office phone number and his personal number in case of after hours questions or problems. Recently, I began bringing my teenage daughter there as well, and she has been just as happy with the care she has received. I was traveling from out-of-state when I was experiencing some severe tooth discomfort. Dr. Evon's…read moreoffice was able to get me in that same week and discovered an infected tooth and very angry inflamed gums. I initially thought I wanted a root canal, and Dr. Evon quickly made arrangements for everything. The next day I came in, I asked if we could remove the tooth instead (since it was back molar and would be cheaper than RC). Dr. Evon and her team went out of their way to accommodate me and my every need. They were able to extract the tooth, treat the infection, and provide deep cleanings on both sides of my mouth. Everyone that worked on me was incredibly kind, compassionate, and professional (and sensitive to my unique situation, being so far from home). Despite this being my biggest dental procedure to date, this was honestly the best experience I've ever had with any dentist. I was comforted by Dr. Evon's extensive knowledge, and she even provided me a book with more information on my particular issues.
