If you didn't know her work, it's the most fun, colorful and happy art at the intersection of Impressionism, portals and optical illusion, where you squint your eyes and each segment of color is like a pixel in a tapestry of interwoven color and texture. The vibe was amazing ing and I just had to go see this art and support this artist. I arrived and found an entire treasure trove of fascinating art by dozens of artists. Each style is unique and well worth coming by. Imagine walking through a museum of the most amazing only talented artists and all the art is for sale. I bought two pieces. One of Shiri's of course. The art is reasonably priced and there are many different sizes. I highly recommend Artspace Warehouse for some of the best talent in the L.A. art world. The staff is wonderful and extremely helpful and full of knowledge about each and every artist, the types of art and our chats were so chill- no pretentious vibes here. Just joy. Art Mechanics is Joseph's magical workshop…read more It's in a beautiful studio space of Westlake. I just moved to the neighborhood and had a large, expensive, heavy piece that needed framing. A welcoming man greeted me at the door. Joseph is a compassionate, emphasizing, true artist. He deeply cares about the piece and the person. He spent a lot of time with me, asking questions about what my vision was. The color palette I'm working with, and my time frame. He presented 4/5 different options on the framing. And let me see how all of them looked on the piece. He gave me a steal deal on the white frame we settled on. After the awesome frame job, I asked Joseph to create two custom wood shelves for my speakers. The shelves have to hold 35 pounds each, I was thinking a solid wood block. He recommended making it hollow, to add storage space. Those came out sturdy, quickly and freshly. Art Mechanics is open late! I love that. And Joseph is a crazy gifted DJ as well! In addition, Joseph framed a special art piece for me, and I loved the look of the final product. In my mind, going to get the piece framed by Joseph was the 2nd part of the art purchase process. It looks incredible, and he helped me make all the decisions necessary to really make the art stand out. I really can't recommend Joseph highly enough for your serious art framing or preservation needs. I wanted a professional who cares about art, and that's what I found! Not only that, but I value his opinions and his eye for presentation!
