I prefer to support small businesses but why do so when I could pay $0.15-20 a page at the local library or at a big chain like Staples.

No driving around to find a spot - there are plenty to be had in this mall-esque type area. 3) The speed. WHOA. They're fast. I've never had this kind of speed and accuracy at any other FedEx Office Centers. 4) The incredible staff. I am greeted warmly when I arrive and when I leave, I am discreetly talked to about the things I need printed (it's annoying when the whole queue behind you knows your business isn't it?!), they are patient problem solvers who are far more creative than you might realize (so lean on them for advice... mostly about printing and shipping, but I'm sure they could offer up some for personal issues too), if something seems crazy expensive they double and triple check that a) their system is really charging that (and if there are any workarounds) and b) if I'm absolutely positively certain I'm okay with the cost. I had previously said that "I was spoiled, as I usually print at home... when I need weird sizes, FedEx is my go to," but I gotta be totally honest: I now pretty much just do ALL my printing here (from posters to recipes to lanyards to guest lists - you name it). I like it. I like how reliable it is, I like how clean and bright my stuff always looks, I like that the staff is beginning to feel genuinely like my coworkers (that's not weird, right?). Whatever that something is, you're going to want it framed a little better than what you can buy off the shelf at Target or Michael's. Maybe a lot better. Whatever. There's only one place to take it. Period. Grapheteria is a small shop with a small team. And they are hands-down the best framers you're going to find. Not in Portland. Not in Southern Maine. Not in New England. The best framers, period. Now, full disclosure, the folks at Grapheteria used to be a client of mine (lots of years ago). And they're definitely friends. Because that's what it is - an investment. Every piece of custom-framed art we have in our home has been handled by the folks at Grapheteria and our home is better for it. They will guide young artists to lower cost options to make their work POP for a first show and still stay affordable and can help serious collectors with archival and museum-quality glass to preserve high-end artwork.
