I normally cringe when reading negative reviews that stress over and over again how horrific the experience was. No matter whether it be a person, business, product, or what have you. It usually seems more of a personal attack rather than a valid review. That, however, is definitely not the case with Dale Perry! I say that in hopes that I can save others their time, and money when searching for an attorney. The few reviews that you will find on this man are absolutely fact, and you will fare well to take heed to them all!!! On January 20, 2023 the man I was seeing took me to his office where he paid $3,000 in full upfront for my divorce. I am submitting this review on October 2, 2023. To help you to better understand the lackluster at best service you will likely receive here let me better explain the case at hand.... This is a simple matter of a no contest divorce for the sole reason of abandonment. We share no children, bank accounts, assets, nothing! Generally, Divorce by publication would be the best, most effective, and far far cheaper option. However, it is also more time consuming, and because it was sinful to even be dating he choose to hire an attorney for the sake of getting things taken care of, and finalized in a shorter time frame. Some ten months later, and not only am I still not able to reach Mr.Perry, but I also do not have a divorce certificate in hand! Had I have simply went to the local clerk of court, requested approval from the judge for divorce by publication, ran it in the local paper for the required time, I would have long had that! And it would have costed me less than $100 at the absolute most. After attempting to contact Mr.Perry via calling his office, email, or text messaging which he seems to prefer all throughout 2023.. One of the FEW times when I actually heard back from him was to say that he had located my estranged husband in Rutherford County TN and had forwarded everything to the sheriff there to have him served. There were then several months more of me trying to contact him for a case update. He apparently isn't able to reach the sheriff which for clarity, I have now done myself multiple times. Once for information, the other times for clarification since I couldn't get that from Mr.Perry. It was actually the sheriff in TN who was finally able to provide me with the information... It seems that the address they were given (footnote: this is the first address that pops up when you Google his name. NOT those people finder websites that you pay for! The free result that pops up in search results) There was one attempt made by them as per protocol, and no one answered the door. Finally getting an answer on Mr.Perry's cell phone in July he explained that the only choice left... you guessed it!!! ... Divorce by publication. I was at a loss of words! He had sent what was needed to the clerk of court where I live, and taken care of posting it in our local news paper. TEN MONTHS AFTER PAYING THIS MAN $3,000 AND HE HAS YET TO LIFT A FINGER TO DO A SINGLE THING!!! Please folks, if your time, or your money are not a concern for you, I can assure you that your sanity is!!! I do not suffer from any mental health issues. I will go out on a limb to say that if I were to this would have absolutely been a far more horrific experience than what it has been. I'd strongly advise against hiring Mr. Perry. He's not honest at all. He pulled my boyfriend's court date from the court docket, with telling ANYONE,not even his CLIENT. Ignored all phone calls from Myself, and my boyfriend's mother, as well as failed to contact my boyfriend who is STILL in jail. He then blamed my boyfriend's mom for everything. He also failed to file any proper paper work with the courts pertaining to my boyfriend's case. We have since had to hire another lawyer. While Dale is currently handling my Divorce/custody disputes I will wait and see? At times Dale can be a little short with me and seems all over the place with his lack of organization but by golly he is a hell of an attorney when he stands before the court. I have also got to mention that Dale has been extremely flexible and generous with a payment arrangement. A big thx to his intern Jessica.
