To whom it may concern, I have visited your store in…read moretrussville numerous times. I was always able to find what I needed. Because of that I experienced GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! The customer service included a very knowledgeable person who could assist me with what my needs were. Unfortunately about two weeks ago I visited the store to inquire about a product. I asked the cashier lady if she could help me with it. Quoting her she said "I don't know what you are talking about." Also she said "just go look over there you may find it." Unlike others who have helped me in the past, she was very unprofessional! To me her attitude was not to ask her anything about what I wanted. I left the store not pleased at all. Went to Golden Temple and they made it happen for me. Awesome and knowledgeable cashier! Today I decided to go back to Honey and Spice. Unfortunately I saw the same cashier in there today! I asked for a different product this time and she yells out and says "I don't know about that. You can talk with lady in the back. I said ok. So I walked towards the back the cashier yelled out that they didn't have the product. But she she had just told me she didn't know. So I'm confused as to why she would send me to the back. The young lady she sent me to was very nice and professional! She actually thanked the cashier twice for sending me to her because she actually had knowledge of what I needed. But the cashier stood behind counter and totally ignored the young lady. As a customer lm sure everyone should work as a team. From what I saw from the cashier for some reason she had a lot of unnecessary issues and attitude. It was really terrible! Don't know her name but she is black woman, stout and very unpleasant! So for the long review but I really like your store. But your cashier service needs a lot of work. She needs to be more knowledgeable, kind and understanding. Most of all respectful.

That said, the food was very flavorful, fresh, delicious and affordable. Affordable is very important to us and this is a good value! My favorite was a sweet that we had after our meal. It was sticky rice surrounded by perfectly ripe mango strips with a coconut sauce. I like not too sweet and could have even had a bit less sugar in the sauce but it was so simple I might try it myself some day and it was amazingly delicious! The service was wonderful. I told our server that I was in the mood for mango and she suggested the sweet. There was only one server and the cook but they were doing brisk business highly efficiently and making it look easy as can be. Most of the business was carry out as the place is small and not elegant. It is quite clean and homey. My husband and I sat on the same side of the long booth seat and there were only one or two other parties on that week night. This is definitely my current favorite local restaurant!

I prob will not get pineapple chicken rice, as it was a little bland for Thai food. The drunken noodle was very flavorful. I got "spicy" coconut tofu, soup, and there are two spice levels above that and I'm not sure I can handle that and I am the type of person that will eat pickled jalapeños for a snack. The soup was almost too spicy at that level. We will go again to try other things.

The plate was a generous amount of food. I didn't even eat it all! Fish was fried nicely but lacked in taste overall. It was missing something. I hated the fries. They appeared to be freshly cut potatoes but lacked seasoning and the hush puppies were just ok. 4.5/10 Service was straightforward. Nothing overly exceptional. I was impressed with the variety of fresh seafood offered. I think this would be a good option if you wanted to just grab and go! I may go this route the next time I'm in the mood for some seafood.

I had to call the police and everything because they kept saying that it was nothing they could do because their footage is not picking up anything of me inserting any money into the machine, which I know is definitely a lie. The assistant manager and store manger were both saying the same thing basically. I had called corporate and I was told that I should hear something back pretty soon. Please, try not to use any cash in their self check machine because it will keep your money and they will use every excuse in the book to not give you back anything. Cameras DO NOT pick up on every little detail. I called the police and everything, they instantly sided with them but it's okay because they're gonna lose way more than $50 dollars. I am about to file a complaint to the Better Business Bureau because what they did was wrong and definitely unethical. Plus, very unfriendly.. I just won't take my business here anymore. I hope this location goes out of business. I had never had an issue until last night. ETA: I eventually got my $50 dollars back. I still feel like the next time I go to any five below other than this one, I will just let an associate assist me with the card or money and if they can't, I'll just go elsewhere. I still will never shop at this location again. They were very unhelpful and rude.
