Was little worried about my Pit/Mix being a little aggressive in nature but they ( and Trainer ) worked with him to where he was comfortable going there.

Our personal experience has been great both times! The doctors have always been caring & compassionate, and didn't make us feel like "crazy cat people" running to the vet at the first sneeze. The price was also reasonable -- we spent less than $100 at both visits for basic exam & medication. Our most recent appointment was on New Year's Eve, which was very convenient so our sick kitty didn't have to wait 2 more days to receive treatment! Love Village East. UPDATE 11/8/15: We had to finally take the 3rd cat in for something, and still had a great experience. Even though there wasn't anything wrong and we were just being paranoid pet parents, Village East made sure to explore the possibilities without charging us an arm & a leg. They even complimented us on our cat's name (Falkor) saying, "That's an awesome name for a cat." Love this clinic and will continue to use them whenever we need to (although, hopefully that won't be very often!)

I tried once more, bath and nail trim, and they told me to be there before 6pm. I got there at approx 3pm, and they told me the groomer leaves at 9am...ok nope, I'm done. Supposedly got new management taking over soon, so maybe things will be better in the future. Don't get me wrong, the people here are nice as could be, but they really need to get on the same page with each other.

On Thursday 11/17/22, Stella went to daycare at Adorable Pooches Palace. She had been times before…read morewith no issues that I'm aware of. I pulled into the parking lot at around 4:30-4:45pm. I could hear a dog barking and whining from inside my car but didn't know where it was coming from. I get out of my car and walk past the window to the grooming room and Stella is in a kennel next to a window. She is clearly stressed by the look on her face, barking at the top of her lungs and whining. She was the dog I heard from inside my car. No person and no other dogs were in this room with her. When I walk in, there was a female employee there and she was talking to another customer. I interrupted and told her I was there to get Stella. She said "oh yes Stella. She was mischievous with a 6 month old husky today. The husky learned that if he doesn't swallow when taking a drink and he flips his head back, water flies all over the place, so Stella joined in on the fun. They both got soaked". I said, ok why is she in a kennel in the grooming room? She said "well, they were both soaked so I put her in there to dry her because she was still wet after being toweled off. The other dog left a little while ago". Keep in mind, I can hear Stella going insane the whole time this lady is leisurely talking to me. I told the lady to go get my dog. She started to say something else and I said, Go Get My Dog Now! She went and got Stella and when Stella came out to me, she was whimpering, upset, and dry. Buried her face in my leg and then tried to go straight to the door. I paid and left. When we got to the car, Stella got in and immediately laid down. She doesn't do that. She normally sticks her head out the window for about 5-10 minutes after we start driving. She was absolutely still and quiet the whole 25 minute drive home. We got home and she walked slowly from the garage to the house with her tail between her legs, which is also not normal. We got inside and my normally not cuddly dog was stuck to me like glue. Would not leave me and would not let me leave her. After giving myself some time to think before reacting, I called APP on the 18th and asked for a supervisor. I told the shift supervisor what I saw and how Stella was acting differently. I asked how long she was in the kennel in the grooming room and what exactly happened. Play group ends at 4. I got there between 4:30 and 4:45. That other dog had been gone for a while per the female worker. The Supervisor said she was off on the 17th and she would ask around and call back. I received a call from the female worker who was there on the 17th. She said "I was told you had questions about yesterday". I said yes and told her my questions. She said "once I realized she was soaking wet, I towel dried her and she was still wet so I put her in the grooming room and turned two dryers on. She had only been in there for maybe 15-20 minutes by the time you got there to pick her up. She wasn't even in there long enough for the dryers to dry her." I asked how loud the dryers are, because Stella isn't good with loud noises and she said not loud. I told her Stella was dry when I picked her up and she said "I don't know what to tell you". She then very quickly changed the subject asked what I meant when I told the supervisor Stella was acting weird after I picked her up. I told her how she was acting. She said, well, why don't you monitor her today and call us back at the end of the day if she isn't acting any better. Normally dogs are exhausted from daycare, so it's not out of the ordinary for them to act tired". She basically ended the conversation there and was snarky to boot! She didn't care what I had to say, blew the whole thing off, and acted like there was no issue. Here's the thing: Even if Stella was only in the kennel for 15-20 minutes, there is still a huge problem. 1) You put Stella in a room that she was unfamiliar with, in a cage, and alone. That would make any dog uncomfortable. 2) Not only did you put her in a kennel in an unfamiliar room, you turned on 2 dryers which are just big noise machines to dogs, and left her alone. Most, if not all, dogs would freak out! 3) After hearing any dog bark the way Stella was barking and carrying on, for more than 5 minutes, she should have been checked on. Even if you were the only one working and people were there to pick their dogs up, Stella was CLEARLY telling you she was not ok. 4) This lady literally said Stella wasn't in there long enough to be dry, but my dog was completely dry when I picked her up. She had come home wet and dirty before, what was different that day, where they decided to "dry her"? 10000% do not recommend

**If you care about the wellbeing on your pet, go anywhere literally anywhere else!** Terrible…read moretreatment of my dogs, they dramatically over fed one, and both came back with matted and full of debris that had to be cut out. My cavalier gained over 1lb in 8 days, which sounds small but it is a 10% gain; they either didn't use my food or didn't follow my instructions (which are also on the back of the can!). Spent hours brushing out all of the debris matted in their hair. We had to unfortunate cut several sections on my Yorker and 1/2 of his tail fur on my King Charles cavalier. TERRIBLE customer service. They called at 9:20 to tell me the dogs had to be picked up right away. They called my emergency contact threatening the same thing. The employees had plans and wanted to close early. I called my brother and he got into an accident on the way. So, my sister-in-law rushed there. I called "all breed" to let them know the situation. I was told they would not "wait any longer" (still during posted pickup hours) even after I told them the website states on the website that Sat pick-up is from 8-10AM. At 10:53 they told me they would only wait 2 more minutes. THEN, they had the audacity to charge more for the day AND a late fee because their clock was 4 minutes fast. ***So, if you care about what is feed to your dog, want them to come home healthy, and expect to be treated with a modicum of respect--avoid this place!!**
