Our personal experience has been great both times! The doctors have always been caring & compassionate, and didn't make us feel like "crazy cat people" running to the vet at the first sneeze. The price was also reasonable -- we spent less than $100 at both visits for basic exam & medication. Our most recent appointment was on New Year's Eve, which was very convenient so our sick kitty didn't have to wait 2 more days to receive treatment! Love Village East. UPDATE 11/8/15: We had to finally take the 3rd cat in for something, and still had a great experience. Even though there wasn't anything wrong and we were just being paranoid pet parents, Village East made sure to explore the possibilities without charging us an arm & a leg. They even complimented us on our cat's name (Falkor) saying, "That's an awesome name for a cat." Love this clinic and will continue to use them whenever we need to (although, hopefully that won't be very often!)

She needs to take a class in customer service. We have utilized many vets and pet service businesses in many states. It has never been a problem to have paperwork faxed to appropriate people in order to care for any dog or pet I have owned or rescued. Are dogs now under HIPPA policies that we cannot obtain their records? Being over two hours from physically being in Henderson, I had to ask my aunt to drive over to obtain them in person. Records were given to my aunt (dads sister) only because she was my dads power of attorney! Inconvenient, unnecessary and ridiculous. According to the posted screen shots it looks like Animal House has received more non-favorable reviews from other pet owners on various websites.

The receptionist was extremely rude to my wife. I contacted the KY State Board of Veterinarians(google them) and they verified no such law exist. I would not trust my pets to be cared for by this facility since the receptionist bold faced lied to me. I've moved around inside KY two other times and had no wait time to receive my pets records for my active duty military moves.

One of my dogs, Chip is a rescue and he is extremely distrusting of people. Ashley and Dr. Werner were so great with him that he gives them kisses! When my pit bull, Biggie developed food allergies, Dr. Werner taught my husband and I how to switch our animals to a human food diet and it has been much healthier for them and has saved us a lot of money to boot. They run and play and act like puppies again at 8 & 9 years old! When my dog, Chip broke his leg, Dr. Werner was looking at him every few days after his surgery and evaluating his pain. She was knowledgeable and anticipated his needs. The break had been so bad that my dog was going to lose his leg. With Dr. Werners guidance, I was able to alter his diet to feed him more calcium, she gave him weekly B-12 shots to stimulate the growth of a nerve that had been damaged, she taught me how to stretch his leg to prevent muscle atrophy. Yesterday I got the news that Chip will get to keep his leg. It is thanks to Dr. Werner and her amazing team. I will never go anywhere else. I live in Evansville but I make the drive to Henderson for Dr. Werner and her staff's excellent care. I have 3 dogs and a cat who are all thriving thanks to this place.
