Back at Christmas, we decided to celebrate the birth of Christ with a cake. Having been side…read moretracked we waited too long and most places were busy. We called up Betsy's. They had a yule log cake (not the most Christ like of things but that's ok). Wow, was it tasty. I loved the coloring, the design, the taste and the little added touch of marshmallows shaped like mushrooms to go with the log. We couldn't eat it in one day, and several days later it was still moist and delicious. The staff on hand at Christmas Eve were very kind when I came in to pick it up. This is a very nice place to get sweets. I am a fan of local owned shops and I truly hope Betsy's sticks around. They have a lot to offer. It's off the main drag but not that far. Parking was the only issue I had, but it's not that big a deal overall if you are patient. Yum yum yum. And yum. And yes, yum.
