They also sell other foods such as Italian ices, smoothies, coffees, cakes, and small baked goods. I was a customer at this Meadows Frozen Custard in Latrobe one time. An employee immediately and politely took my order and payment and made my custard cone. The eating area was spacious and clean. I loved the life-sized cow figurine. I ate two menu items. I ate a cone with Fruity Pebbles custard. Although the size was small, it was a tall size. The Fruity Pebbles cereal tasted very good but got slightly soggy inside the custard. The "Great White Custard Cookie Sandwich" was a huge size. It consisted of two cookies with frozen custard and sprinkles in the middle. It also tasted very good.

I asked if that enormous cone was a size large and she said yes, so I ordered that in the rotating twist flavors of coconut and blueberry and also got a baby cup of vanilla soft serve for my dog, which for a baby cup was enormous. Together they were under $5. So fair! We went to sit in a nice covered patio area. There's a lot of outdoor seating space! While we were sitting, the place started to get busy with people coming for lunch as well as ice cream. They were ordering things like burgers and quesadillas from what looked like nice grill menu. At the prices here, I'm not surprised that I saw a couple of large families come to eat. I mentioned this to a friend who lives in the area and she never realized they have food. They sell Korber's ice cream but I don't think they turn it over fast enough to prevent freezer burn. Every ice cream I've tried here has had ice crystals in it. And so did this one . I think the coffee side of the business is more robust than the ice cream side. I'll keep trying because I want to support the local entrepreneurs like Mike.
