As soon as we went in I asked what we needed to do to get the deal. The gal at the register said we should go ahead and order and see if it came up. It did not. It was late in the evening on Mother's Day so I found it interesting that no one else had asked them about it before then. The cashier called the manager who also did not seem aware of the deal. She then told us we couldn't get the deal because we ordered in the store not online (which the text did not mention). I said we needed a refund then and we proceeded to order online. The app ordering was very cumbersome and frustrating and it did not appear to apply the deal either. When we got the food, the fries were not fresh and the burger was also disappointing. My daughter got the steak taco and she thought hers was good. About an hour later, the app appeared to have applied the deal. Overall, it was not the experience I was hoping for when we stopped or the experience we usually get from other Freddy's.

The outside of the building has seen better days, and the interior decor was a chaotic collection of clearance aisle decals and school sports jerseys. The service was friendly and helpful, but with the place being packed, our salads were forgotten until we asked. However, that's the only negative comment for service. Don't sleep on the pork chops! The chicken fried steak was good, but the best food on the table was the pork chop.

The chili was only slightly different from a Sonic chili burger and honestly, Sonic has more flavor in theirs sadly. I wasn't offered any options for the chili burger and none listed on the menu. Chili burger is what the menu says and that's what you get. No option for onions or grilled onions or anything else. It's definitely not worth $8. Maaaaaybe $4-6 and $6 being generous. $8 should come with fries at least. Basic flavor. Basic presentation. Then you're most likely feeling the need to tip on top of that. The parking area was at least clean. People coming and going makes you think it's a popular spot but makes me wonder if there's better places to go even if I had to walk inside.
