This place is always busy. For it being so young - it looks like it's been there for years. We went in - but did not like the cleanliness of the place. The folks were very nice - but the place needs a good scrubbing. Now - we will stop for the mini blizzard - but it's the drive thru for us. Again - nice folks - just Really Busy! read more

horrible customer service! No manners at all, every time I come they always get my order wrong no matter how simple it is! It's almost like they hate working here and if that's the case get a new job. I wish there was a different one in the area because I absolutely hate coming here. read more

Dairy Queen is always a solid choice for a sweet treat. My go to is the Oreo milkshake and it never disappoints. It's thick, creamy, and packed with just the right amount of Oreo flavor every time. Whether I'm craving something sweet after a long day or just stopping by for a quick treat, they always come through. Definitely one of my favorite dessert spots! read more

My chicken tenders are burnt asf. If I could give 0 stars I f***ing would. Old lady in there is rude also sounds miserable I get it. But food isn't what food use to be. Please and don't go wouldn't recommend from a million miles away. My chicken tenders are grey for some reason I will be sueing them. I'm starting not to feel good at all. Went to this location last week for lunch; the inside of the restaurant was very dirty. Every table was sticky or just not wiped down and the floor looked like it hadn't been swept in awhile. Only two employees in the restaurant running the inside, drive through and cooking. My food took a long time to get to me and was over fried. Today I went through the drive through for for a dipped come, I asked what dip flavors are available? They only have chocolate. I asked again because the employee had a thick accent and I thought maybe I didn't hear her correctly. She says we only EVER have chocolate. So out of the 10 flavors advertised online they only have chocolate. I left because that's not what I wanted. Culver's down the street had what I wanted and the restaurant was clean. read more

Picked up lunch for my family today. $47 worth. Burgers were sloppy, all the French fry's were cold, The chicken dumplings were thick/cold. I also ordered a 6 piece chicken tender to split with my son but I received what looked like nuggets! ($14 for that alone) WTH? Cold food. Stingy portions. Lame! read more

Would give it a zero as they never have ice cream. I would say out of the last 6 times we have stopped only one time have they had ice cream. Dairy is in the name of the company so you would think that would be their main stay but it is not. read more

What is up with this place?!?? Been there three times where the dining room was closed and no reason noted on the door, people inside eating. The drive thru was open....and long, of course. Called once to ask why the doors were locked and the person stated they were short staffed. Now I have never ran a restaurant or fast food establishment but I would think closing the drive thru makes more sense. Anyway, no good service there lately and may not go back....and yet I still want their ice cream! read more

Not an aggressive guy filled with rage here. I know that the world is full of people that are. Was literally threatened by an African American male and female employees because I complained that I had waited over 20 minutes for a single soft serve ice cream. It was literally everything I could do to avoid a physical confrontation was these idiots. They seemed to be especially aggravated that I finally ask for a refund after waiting AT THE WINDOW for an ice cream for over 20 minutes. I got the refund, was threatened, was yelled at. I rarely lose my cool but I did here. My advice is if you are looking for a thug experience in Kingwood then Dairy Queen is the place you go. I assume they are going to pull the same BS on some guy full of rage one day and I'll end up seeing it on the news. read more

This DQ has been a favorite since I moved to this area...It's exceptionally clean and the staff is always friendly...the food is made fresh to order and not bad for fast food food...but what I mainly come to DQ for is the ice cream...the world famous Blizzard...Oreo and cookie dough blizzards are hands down my favorite... I'm not really a huge ice cream guy...but DQ can always have my business...the only thing I don't like about this location is that if you're not really familiar with the area...you will pass it up every time... because it's ducked off behind some trees...but because of that reason...the lines are always short...I plan on trying more flavors of blizzards at one point...so I can see myself coming back to this location...and I recommend this spot to any and everyone read more

oh boy do i have a story for you guys , so i was going thru dairy queen and made a wrong turn , completely my fault , but the manager came up and parked right in front of me and kept honking for me to revserse ALL THE WAY back (one way lane) when he could've been a decent human being and reverse literally 2 feet for me to get out , he proceeds to get out of his car and start cussing at me , a kid , and threatens to fight me over something that could've been handled easily , he then threatens my mom, grandma, AND little sister who was also with me . Really funny seeing a grown miserable man so mad at a young kid, his excuse was he "was the manager" didn't know how entitled a DQ manager is Also proceeded to ban us from the place , not like we ever go there anyways lol, but pretty sure all that fake jewelry he's wearing messes with the head , anyways merry christmas everyone !! read more

Most of the staff seem to have the attitude that customers are a nuisance. Makes for a very bad atmosphere. We just get on their nerves and they couldn't be more aggravated that we're making them do their jobs just for showing up it's like they are bothered. Now there are other employees like Brylee, for instants, who is inviting and efficient in getting orders out and makes you feel Like she is happy to help. I've been trying to order a ice cream cake for two days now and I have been put on hold for outrageous amount of time, and I feel very strongly that it's done purposely to make me hang up. read more

This is literally the worst Dairy Queen ever, do yourself a favor and do not waste your time going! The food here is always cold and stale tasting, the nacho chips taste rancid, chicken strips cold and dry. This location is always running out of stuff, especially ice cream! I do not know why I keep giving them another chance. Charged our card, forgot to give it back, we locked the card, then they refunded back and tried to recharge card all while having us wait for our food and refusing to give our card back. All our blizzards melted. So over this place. read more

My lil man was very brave today at his orthopedic appointment so I promised him "wooly ice cream", his autistic way of saying "Dairy Queen ice cream", and this is the banana split they made him. His reward: bananas with whipped cream, 2 small dollops of ice cream with gross soggy strawberries, and hard cubed pineapple. He attacked the whipped cream before I could snap this picture but you can see, or barely see, the ice cream. What he got was mostly whipped cream. I didn't say anything because he doesn't know he got ripped off and he was really anxious to dig into it. I won't be bringing him back to this location. Severely scrimping on product to cheat customers is a bad business practice. It costs you in the long run when you lose customers. I'll be sending a letter to corporate to make them aware how their brand is being represented here. read more

Dairy Queen - Dairy Queen Disappointment...Where's the ice cream??? - Fast Food Near Me - Kingwood, Texas

Had a less than pleasurable experience on Mother's Day due to an inept staff. Waited 25 minutes in a hot, dirty store for 4 small blizzards and a dip cone. We kept being told 5 more minutes, repeatedly. Never could understand what the hold up was. When we finally received our order, the cone was half melted as were 2 of the 4 blizzards, ridiculous! Never again at this location. read more

I've ordered food here a handful of times and most of the time my order isn't right or they're out of something. Today I got a steak finger basket and the gravy was basically chalky water. I called and spoke to someone who laughed at me when I said I'd wasted my money on the meal. read more

Most disgusting thing ever & even worst is the customer service! There was 2 bugs in our banana split - we called the restaurant to let them know, the guy laughed and said "oh that's an Oreo" (Oreos don't fly and have wings!) We were told to go back to get a refund or new ice cream. When we arrived the same guy (manager I believe) said this is a chopped nut when clearly there was wings!! Worst customer service ever and will not be returning. read more

I've rarely gone here and NOT had a problem! Tonight was the worst. My husband drove thru the drive thru, and I know he orders my food correctly, because I text him my order and he reads it straight from his phone. I ordered the flamethrower burger, no sauce. It comes with pepper jack cheese and jalapeno bacon...I got a regular cheeseburger with American cheese and mustard. Ordered two drinks: coke with ice and a diet coke no ice. We got two drinks with ice and neither was marked as to which was which...my husband swears both were diet. Fries are not worth mentioning. I keep trying for a better experience, after waiting several months between visits...but am always disappointed. One time, we actually got a banana split with NO bananas!!!! So me and a friend were in the middle of Bachelorette(2012) great movie check it out, and we got this immediate sweet tooth and I just kept thinking it had been so long since I had Dairy Queen and I asked my fried if there was one close and she said yup right off of Northpark. So we hop in the car a speed to our nearest DQ to cure our sweet tooth hankering. I ordered the George mud fudge which had brownie bites ice cream chocolate fudge and pecans. I'm not a huge fan of nuts in my desserts so I always get it w/o. My friend had the Reese's billiard which you can never go wrong with. We went through the drive thru and it was quick and easy. As they were handing us our blizzards they did the cute little thing where they turn them up side down without a top even to show you how viscous your blizzard really is. It was a great dessert per usual, only 4 stars because a friend ask for suggestions and we were told by an employee they had been working there too long so they didn't find anything good anymore. Lol just lie. read more

I loved , past tense ...Dairy Queen. What I seen and now I know .,seriously gross I will never go to Dairy Queen ever again. I did work there at the Kingwood location less then a month . I was grossed out because of my coworkers . I thought at this location they will treat customers right. But honestly coworkers to management they they give a two rats .... Those who want to work there be aware. Since I worked with that Dairy Queen , I never got paid the time I put into that place . I quit because I told the supervisor at the beginning that I am in school. She said that wasn't a problem but when she did schedule me , I had to go to college// school.. I never received a call back from the supervisor or got paid from them . They need to change to some kind of management that knows what they r doing and get new workers. This is the newest location around the area and has a very young staff so I tried to go in with a little patience. We arrived and decided to go in since a lot of review's stated the orders get wrong through the drive thru...as we entered there was a truck in front of us who stopped in the middle of the entrance to tell the drive thru worker they forgot food in their bag. He was told to pull up out of the way and he would be taken care of. Well he pulled up as we parked and no one came to see him so he ended up in line behind us. We only ordered 1 small cone, 1 small dipped cone and a strawberry sundae with nuts. As we were giving our order a lady came up to the counter fron a table and was telling them they made her burger wrong and stated exactly how she wanted it...mayo, extra pickles and lettuce no mustard. She didn't tell them once, twice or three times she told them at least 7 times. im pretty sure it still came out wrong. When we finally got our order the sundae had no nuts so my husband asked them to add them on....then they asked if he wanted peanuts or pecans...he said peanuts thinking it would be the chopped up peanuts you normally get...nope...it was whole peanuts with the red shell on them. The manager and district manager need to come and properly train these workers before throwing them into a snake pit. We have no DQ anywhere near kingwood so of course its going to be busy. They need have half trainees and half fully trained from other DQ's. We wont be back for awhile. I only gave 2 stars because my dipped cone was good. oh and as we were waiting for our order the guy who had already waited in the drive thru lane had to not only wait in the inside line but had to wait for the FULL MEAL they didn't add to his bag. It wasn't like they forgot ketchup...it was fries and a burger. read more
