Went to this location last week for lunch; the inside of the restaurant was very dirty. Every table was sticky or just not wiped down and the floor looked like it hadn't been swept in awhile. Only two employees in the restaurant running the inside, drive through and cooking. My food took a long time to get to me and was over fried. Today I went through the drive through for for a dipped come, I asked what dip flavors are available? They only have chocolate. I asked again because the employee had a thick accent and I thought maybe I didn't hear her correctly. She says we only EVER have chocolate. So out of the 10 flavors advertised online they only have chocolate. I left because that's not what I wanted. Culver's down the street had what I wanted and the restaurant was clean. read more

Not an aggressive guy filled with rage here. I know that the world is full of people that are. Was literally threatened by an African American male and female employees because I complained that I had waited over 20 minutes for a single soft serve ice cream. It was literally everything I could do to avoid a physical confrontation was these idiots. They seemed to be especially aggravated that I finally ask for a refund after waiting AT THE WINDOW for an ice cream for over 20 minutes. I got the refund, was threatened, was yelled at. I rarely lose my cool but I did here. My advice is if you are looking for a thug experience in Kingwood then Dairy Queen is the place you go. This DQ has been a favorite since I moved to this area...It's exceptionally clean and the staff is always friendly...the food is made fresh to order and not bad for fast food food...but what I mainly come to DQ for is the ice cream...the world famous​ Blizzard...Oreo and cookie dough blizzards are hands down my favorite... I'm not really a huge ice cream guy...but DQ can always have my business...the only thing I don't like about this location is that if you're not really familiar with the area...you will pass it up every time... because it's ducked off behind some trees...but because of that reason...the lines are always short...I plan on trying more flavors of blizzards at one point...so I can see myself coming back to this location...and I recommend this spot to any and everyone read more

My lil man was very brave today at his orthopedic appointment so I promised him "wooly ice cream", his autistic way of saying "Dairy Queen ice cream", and this is the banana split they made him. His reward: bananas with whipped cream, 2 small dollops of ice cream with gross soggy strawberries, and hard cubed pineapple. He attacked the whipped cream before I could snap this picture but you can see, or barely see, the ice cream. What he got was mostly whipped cream. I didn't say anything because he doesn't know he got ripped off and he was really anxious to dig into it. I won't be bringing him back to this location. Severely scrimping on product to cheat customers is a bad business practice. It costs you in the long run when you lose customers. I've rarely gone here and NOT had a problem! Tonight was the worst. My husband drove thru the drive thru, and I know he orders my food correctly, because I text him my order and he reads it straight from his phone. I ordered the flamethrower burger, no sauce. It comes with pepper jack cheese and jalapeno bacon...I got a regular cheeseburger with American cheese and mustard. Ordered two drinks: coke with ice and a diet coke no ice. We got two drinks with ice and neither was marked as to which was which...my husband swears both were diet. Fries are not worth mentioning. I keep trying for a better experience, after waiting several months between visits...but am always disappointed. One time, we actually got a banana split with NO bananas!!!! So me and a friend were in the middle of Bachelorette(2012) great movie check it out, and we got this immediate sweet tooth and I just kept thinking it had been so long since I had Dairy Queen and I asked my fried if there was one close and she said yup right off of Northpark. So we hop in the car a speed to our nearest DQ to cure our sweet tooth hankering. I ordered the George mud fudge which had brownie bites ice cream chocolate fudge and pecans. I'm not a huge fan of nuts in my desserts so I always get it w/o. My friend had the Reese's billiard which you can never go wrong with. We went through the drive thru and it was quick and easy. As they were handing us our blizzards they did the cute little thing where they turn them up side down without a top even to show you how viscous your blizzard really is. This is the newest location around the area and has a very young staff so I tried to go in with a little patience. We arrived and decided to go in since a lot of review's stated the orders get wrong through the drive thru...as we entered there was a truck in front of us who stopped in the middle of the entrance to tell the drive thru worker they forgot food in their bag. He was told to pull up out of the way and he would be taken care of. Well he pulled up as we parked and no one came to see him so he ended up in line behind us. We only ordered 1 small cone, 1 small dipped cone and a strawberry sundae with nuts. As we were giving our order a lady came up to the counter fron a table and was telling them they made her burger wrong and stated exactly how she wanted it...mayo, extra pickles and lettuce no mustard. She didn't tell them once, twice or three times she told them at least 7 times. im pretty sure it still came out wrong. When we finally got our order the sundae had no nuts so my husband asked them to add them on....then they asked if he wanted peanuts or pecans...he said peanuts thinking it would be the chopped up peanuts you normally get...nope...it was whole peanuts with the red shell on them. The manager and district manager need to come and properly train these workers before throwing them into a snake pit. We have no DQ anywhere near kingwood so of course its going to be busy. They need have half trainees and half fully trained from other DQ's. We wont be back for awhile. I only gave 2 stars because my dipped cone was good. oh and as we were waiting for our order the guy who had already waited in the drive thru lane had to not only wait in the inside line but had to wait for the FULL MEAL they didn't add to his bag. I'm from a town of 4000 in Montana and we had more options this DQ doesn't have: 1. Chocolate ice cream 2. Twist Ice cream 3. No coco fudge 4. No Cherry Cones 5. No butterscotch cones 6.
