Especially to Ivory who went out her way to help me with a carrying bag, held the door, and assisted every way possible. Other than no hot coffee or tea in house a very pleasant trip for someone who just wanted some ice cream. read more

Offensive that Fairy Queen is asking for tips....its FAST FOOD!!! There are no tips!! Now. Were the workers kind? Yes. Was the ice cream decent? Yes. Tipping culture is out of control. The checker even gasped when I didn't tip at checkout. Wow. Not likely to stop here again for that reason read more

We got here @9:55, I understand we were 5 minutes until closing but we had a small order and i was willing to tip. Both the boys that took our order and handed us our food were rude, and were obnoxiously talking about how they should've just said they were closed, which would have been fine. I would have understood, but they decided to take our order and then act as they did. We got our food, and there was more than 10 pickles on both our burgers, i really couldn't care less about that but it's just along with the customer service makes me never want to go back to such a rude environment. Also shitty old fries lol. read more

Won't be going back. With no one else dining-in @ the time of ordering, and very few cars @ the drive-in, we felt confident in being able to be served quickly. 30 minutes after ordering, sitting by ourselves in the first booth directly in view of the staff, none of the 8 employees are working. When i approached them, they didnt have a clue of me ever ordering. While waiting for some type of resolution, a middle aged man, together with his son, also approached the counter demanding to speak to a manager. They appeared to be baffled by this request especially as none of the 8 could have been over 18 and none displayed any maturity in conflict resolutuion. This guy was screaming how he waited over 15 minutes for a simple bacon burger and finally received it cold and without bacon. At least his burger didnt look as if it was ran over by a semi... ours did. I normally try to say 'something' redeeming about places i review but i am at a loss trying to think of something in this case read more

Overall I am disappointed in the service and cleanliness of this facility. I am always waiting so long to order and to get my food/blizzard. The inside smells like something up and died in there. I love Dairy Queen but I don't have all day to eat and I don't carry a nose clip. read more

Worst service, theyate always out of everything, this time they had no soda or slushes. We always buy the combo nut couldn't because nothing was working and then they wanted to charges us more. Im never going there again. read more

I would not go there. The staff is terrible and there is a gm and her name is Anna. She isn't the brightest and also Kenna. They are super mean. Worked with them and I wouldn't go there. They yell and cuss when there mad. Absolutely terrible read more

Probably one of the worst hamburgers I've ever had served to me in my life. Horrible aftertaste. Go the nearby McDonalds.

The food is bland and made very sloppy. I can't trust a restaurant that has no adults involved. Everyone working aer kids. Sloppy dressed, greasy, dirty looking kids. No recommendations from me. read more

Great staff tonight! Thank you for your help and your personable interaction. Grandkids are going to enjoy the treats.

it took 30 minutes jus to get 2 small dipped cones and it was melted and messy it did not taste good and the quality sucked also the sofa machine was broken read more

We stopped for lunch. We ordered our meals, I ordered a #10 triple cheeseburger my wife ordered a #5. One of the youngsters took our meals to another table and gave it to another couple, they opened it and touched it and told the younger that isn't our food, the they came to our table and asked if it was ours. I said it was, they left the tray of food with us. I said we're not eating this someone we don't know had their fingers on it. So they remade our meals, my wife's was food, but they only gave me a double cheeseburger not a triple.. So I said to a worker how hard is it to get a burger I ordered? So she said they're making you an other one. So after 20 minutes of waiting. So asked another worker about my triple cheeseburger. That didn't make one, so the cashier stood by and watched them make it. And she brought it to my table. But by then I was pissed off and not hungry at all, took it to go. They didn't offer any discount or a free cone or sundae or anything.... Last time I'll eat there. They messed up a total of 5 orders while I was there. Mine 3 times. Pretty pathetic since it wasn't very busy at all.. read more

Went up the other night for a chili dog and chocolate shake. Both could have been better. Chili dog ordered w/o cheese. Arrived on stale bun, no onions, mediocre chili. In all, not my favorite. Chocolate shake w/o all the toppings was ok but not anything to write home about. Have done Sonic, McDonalds, Wendy's and now, Dairy Queen. Would rate McDonalds 1st, followed by Wendy's with the other two at the bottom of my shake list. Still looking for a decent chili dog. Will keep looking... read more

Nice location for fast food & UmmUmmm Good ice cream! Lots of parking. But!! The drive thru gets supper packed and it's hard to get out if your parked in the parking lot. The drive thru is very slowwww. But the wait for the ice cream is worth it!!! The customer service is wonderful and friendly. read more

Always clean and staffed with pleasant cheery face. However, our last two visits the desserts we received seemed smaller. Like a mini blizzard that was half full and a medium cone which is normally an impressive pyramid of ice cream just a dwarf of its former self. Is this shrinkflation or just possibly and error? I'll have to ask upon our return. Dave S. read more

My first time ordering actual food here and they got my order wrong (mind you I keep my orders super simple and if my kids don't want something I make them remove it at home). The most frustrating part is that I didn't get a receipt so I don't know if I was charged for the items I didn't receive or if they omitted them from the order all together. I guess I'll be sticking to using DQ for my night time blizzard runs only. read more

Haven't been to a DQ in years. Stopped in with my son for dessert. I wouldn't go there for a dining in experience- small seating area probably last decorated 15 years ago or whenever it was built. Most customers while we were there used the drive thru. But service was prompt and friendly and my Oreo/Butterfingers Blizzard was delightful. read more

Came here with my dad and brothers and ordered simple meals. Seems they couldn't get a single one right. Like seriously. How do you mess up a chilli cheese dog? Everyone seems to be an airhead or slow. read more

I would give 0 stars if I could. I understand having new employees and having patience while they figure out the job! I also know how frustrating training can be for a manager during busy day times since I myself am a manager. But simply uses the tools put in place by the franchise would have completely avoided me being mistreated by an employee. Had she called out a order number rather than #2 Large fry with a lobby full of guest there would have been no issue! I even asked the friendly cashier who took my order if I needed my receipt for the order number and he said we don't use order numbers! Im just in disbelief at how that employee treated me,If I was her manager I would have sent her home for talking to customers the way she talked to me . I have never been treated so poorly after paying a ridiculous price for one damn meal and ice cream! than she just turned her back and dismissed me when I told her my order wasn't complete she said "well I don't know" . And than I stood there after she turned her back to me and had to wait for a different employee to finish the order! Completely ridiculous! Maybe consider having your employees that have no patience for guest as a cook. read more

I am absolutely appalled at how far this Dairy Queen has deteriorated in the last 5 years , this used to be my favorite spot for quick food in Rathdrum but now it is horrific . I went to eat there last night and I didn't receive two cheeseburgers I ordered , they left out all the sauces for our chicken strip baskets after we specifically asked they make sure we got ranch Buffalo and ketchup , the blizzard we got was barley mixed at all it was just vanilla ice cream 3/4 of the way up with all toppings and sauce sitting right atop the cup , and the worst of all was the absolutely horrendous customer service , the person taking our order was incompetent and had no idea what was even on their menu , when we got to the window there was a red headed man who rudely dealt with us and rolled his eyes when we asked for ketchup , which we didn't get . He practically threw our food at us and after all that we still said thank you as we drove away as he just squinted his eyes like we were annoying him . Do not waste your time supporting this miserable establishment , the one in post falls is worth the drive considering how this store is . Not sure why this store has fell so far to bad service but hope they get things in line because it is truly terrible . read more

This Dairy Queen always turns there open sign off way before closing time. An hour or more before they close. It seems they are trying to stop people from coming in. And when you do pull up there they seemed annoyed you figured out they were actually open. I have been noticing this for over a year now every time I drive by. I can't believe they have been getting away with this for so long. read more

I find the Dairy Queen in Rathdrum to be delightful. The workers are highly skilled. One employee even inverted all three of our Blizzards even though company policy only requires one. Outstanding! read more

Arrived at this location 10 minutes before close. I tried to open the door and it was locked. There were three people inside behind the counter and they all refused to look at me when I went up to the window to look inside. What's worse is they seemed to be laughing amongst themselves. Terrible service and I was unable to satisfy my desire for a blizzard. I was very disappointed. read more

Okay listen; this was so bad I downloaded the app just to let everyone know to stay the hell away, I paid like 7 bucks for four tiny chicken strip (nuggets) that we're smaller than the ones at McDonald's, which are like half the price, so that was a bad start, on that note the ranch I got was as sour as a lemon and spoiled to all hell. Not to mention the person working till was mild mannered. All around it might have just been the staff tonight, maybe it was a bad day for everyone there, but if you can change it I'd go to the Taco Bell down the street or the McDonald's across from it; read more
