They are doing a switch over to CVS and they're going to be in for a shock. In my experience, CVS doesn't allow their pharmacies to be run so poorly. Just too many errors. If it stays the same after becoming CVS, they're going to lose a lot of valued and devoted customers.

It might be run of the mill for locals; I'm not sure if this is a large chain that's all over the place or if it's less common, but the produce, meat, and cheese departments blew me away. I just want to rave a bit about this particular section of the store - most everything else was similar to what your expect. I've never seen such a large selection of items in a grocery store deli before... it was honestly slightly overwhelming to pick just a few items to try. There are individually wrapped chunks of tons of different types of cheeses, dried meats and prepackaged ones, accoutrements like breadsticks, olives, mini jelly and jam jars, and more. It was amazing. The bakery case was a whole other story... I have the biggest sweet tooth and can't get enough of baked goods, and their displays were absolutely gorgeous. I unfortunately didn't purchase anything from this section, but I can only imagine it's delicious lol. Checking out was easy as it usually is when grocery shopping and the lady that helped me out was friendly, so I really had absolutely nothing to complain about during my extremely brief visit to this super cool store.

They get to know their regular customers, remembering their names, the kind of cigarettes they buy, making conversation and jokes with them. You don't feel like just a number when you go in to this location, and I appreciate that. They are always fast and efficient as well, so you're never stuck waiting in a line. They are open fairly late, until 11pm, so if you forgot something at the grocery store that you need to make dinner, Dari Mart is much closer and quicker than a trip to the grocery store. I know I appreciate the friendly and helpful staff here more than any other Dari Mart locations. I'm lucky this one is so close to my house and has great employees.

Talk about competition. Lol. Back in the day, it was a Texaco gas station, plus the store. I'm not really sure why it closed down, as there aren't really any gas stations in that area. The only ones nearby are Shell stations, and both are much closer to the freeway, versus being right in the middle of town. Once the gas station closed, the pumps and everything with it were removed, and it stayed empty for quite a number of years. So I was pleasantly surprised when Buy2 took it over and it opened once again. Like I said, I go in roughly once a week to grab a quick snack, soda, or cigarettes when I'm in the area. It's usually when I'm out running errands, or on the random day I take my husband to work. It's a new, bright store, seems spacious enough. It's the typical convenient store, really. There's nothing special about it that I've found. Their prices are better than Dari Mart next door on many things. So in terms of my wallet, I like it a lot better. The selection of items is fine. It's typical of what you'd find in any store like it. Employees have always been nice and helpful. If you're buying cigarettes, they aren't the ID nazis that Dari Mart is. Sometimes I think they go a little overboard in that regard. I get it can be a big deal selling cigarettes or alcohol to minors, but there's a difference between reasonable and ridiculous. At least they use more common sense here. So it's faster for me as a customer. Would I return here? Yes, I like this store. It's always clean, welcoming, and has good employees.
