They currently have an Earl Grey infused Gin with Butterfly Pea Flower in it which gives it a cool blue/purple colour ($49.85 for 750ml). I believe their infused spirits are usually limited run, as we gifted some Hibiscus Gin last year from Dunrobin Distilleries and can't seem to find it anymore. I'm not a big drinker, but I do like to create my own cocktails and the spirits at Dunrobin Distilleries are perfect for that. I haven't tried their bitters but they have interesting flavours such as Celery and Black Walnut. I like that they are small and local and use local ingredients when they can, and when they can't they source from sustainable and non-GMO farms.

He walked us through how their distillery works and how the grains are locally sourced. They have quite a few options and some very unique options like Garlic Vodka and Ginger Vodka. The different gins were great to taste side by side as well as tasting the whiskey side by side. Their canned vodka coolers are delicious, we coudn't leave without buying some. We walked away really enjoying the experience and the craft alcohols. Had to get a few bottles to take home, and the mini bottles are a great option with the 4 pack for $40. I had to get the garlic vodka, it is just so unique and he suggested using it in a Caesar or Bloody Mary, so we will try that.

We initially went into the brewery for a few cans, and ended up taking a peek next door at this distillery as well, where we found out that they use local farm-grown ingredients to distill vodka and rum, and we got a tour of the facility although they are not distilling anything at the moment. Fascinating! The equipment is large; I can't imagine trying to do this on the QT during prohibition!! We we offered samples of their organic rum, a vodka cooler, as well as garlic flavoured vodka!! This was amazing!! We took some home, and I will for sure cook with it! This place (and the brewery next door) was certainly worth the visit. We will be back... once we get low on what we purchased!

Cost me for 2 adults, 2 kids just under 100 cad. Our guide was Hanna and she was excellent. Overall she seemed extremely knowledgeable about the area and added a little theatrical approach to her story telling. It's a short walk to the prison but once inside it's a throw back to 100+ years in the past. Spooky and fun. Not overly scary for my 10 and 7 yo. If I'm ever back in the area I'll definitely be checking out one of their other tours. My kids loved it.
