Upon returning home, I was checking her over and realized her ears were disgusting and dirty. I called, asking about it. Thinking maybe I didn't add that on. They just gave me excuses saying she must have shaken her head and had all that drainage and to watch her because they definitely cleaned her ears. We had had her groomed many times in the past and her ears were always spotless upon picking her up. Very disappointed in their response. Basically "come back in and we'll look at them" to which I replied I was home watching my kids now and family was coming over. They acted defensive as if it wasn't their problem. Such a bummer. Now to find a different groomer for our 3 dogs.

With one pet in particular, I called the Doctor very late one evening, and he came to my home, and put my Pug down. He not only went above and beyond the call of duty by coming to our home, he wepl along with me and my family. He has a sweet spirit, and it's obvious that he loves and cares about his patients. Bruechner Animal Clinic staff are ALL very professional, and have concern for the family as well as the animal...taking into consideration the toll a sick animal can take on all parties concerned. One of our pets was boarded at this clinic many times, and he absolutely loved to come for a stay. Barbara, Sherry, and Diane are all three extremely informed, and when I needed to reach them, it NEVER took me long to get hold of one of them. I moved to Dallas about 1 1/2 years ago, and I only WISH I could find a "Dr. Bruechner and staff" here. This clinic was ALWAYS very reasonable - cost wise....and Dallas vets seem to be in it for the big bucks!

It was a very grim situation, but she acted swiftly and with extreme expertise. She then kept her in the clinic for 2 days monitoring her status frequently, again, on a holiday weekend!!!
