When I closed up last fall I believe there was a different business located here at that time and noticed the new name with relatively few reviews but all positive and decided to give it a try which was a good call on my part. The pancakes I ordered were well made, tasty and served with "HOT" maple syrup where I truly cant recall the last time I experienced that . The bacon I order was truly top shelf and comes from Plath's meat shop in petoskey. Thick cut, with a lot of meat versus fat, and most importantly very very tasty. The building itself has a smallish foot print where they are able to comfortably accommodate more tables than what you would think from viewing on the outside. Having said that the place was hopping while I was there on a Tuesday morning which I was surprised with and makes me wonder how busy they will be once summer arrives and the positive word about this restaurant spreads. Just something to keep in mind during peak season as you can avoid it by arriving early which is what I always do with the more popular restaurants. Last, I had excellent friendly service with great follow up through out. No worries here about having your coffee topped off as I never saw the bottom of my cup while here. Nice! Overall I was very pleased with my initial dining experience and will definately be returning again where this is now on my short list of breakfast Places I rotate through when up here. While here, definitely make sure to try the Plath meats they serve as these are superior to most of the breakfast restaurants I frequent. Also I saw these amazing Breakfast burrito's with gravy other people were ordering where that will be my next try here when I return.

The pizza was hot, the sauce was delicious and the cheese was perfect. . Highly recommend the garlic dots, soft, delicious, perfectly seasoned, they melted in our mouth. Highly addictive as well. The pizza was just as good the next morning, as were the garlic dots. You can't say that for a lot of places. We also enjoyed the owners daughter telling us a story about the origin of the pink elephant and the overall hometown welcome that we received. Worth a stop if you are in this neck of the woods.

Let me say that The person I ordered from was extremely nice. Hats off to good service. That being said, it could use some improvement. The chicken parm sandwich I had was not great. Chicken lacked seasoning and so did the sauce. It's a new sandwich for them so it may improve over time. The seating area could use a few more tables. There's a big open area between the tables they have and the counter and the place feels really empty. The racing trophies they have are covered in dust and that kinda grossed me out. They also charge extra if you use a credit card which is a real pet peeve of mine. My sandwich was just under $11 for cash but was over $12 for using my credit card. It was a full 10% up charge. I may give them another try at some point, but I'm hoping this review helps them make some changes.
