The Edge at Greentree is not a bad apartment. I just moved here a month ago from Philly. I like…read morethis apartment. I have a one bedroom and feel that it is a fair price. I like the view, I like the gym...I am not a fan of the laundry room in the unit I live in though, I like the landscape and I have a fair view of the street. However, there are a few problems with my unit that I feel have been there before I arrived. #1 The bedroom has ants that comes out from under the baseboard. My daughter notice them all along the baseboard and on the walls. The rental office did send someone over to spray but that really did not fix the problem because the ants keep coming back. So me and my daughter had to set ant traps that we bought from pest control. #2 The toilet is not level its lop sided...when I put in a work order for it, maintenance fixed it by putting these wooded sticks under it to level it out...however, it still is not fix...we have to adjust the sticks all the time...the toilet need to be leveled correctly. #3 The next problem and probably the most stressful to me is the fact that my patio floods every time it rains. It rained the first week we moved in and my daughter show me the patio flooding. What I notice is that the reason the patio floods is because the downspout drainage which is the gutter drain has a crack in it..so instead of the water running down the pipe into the grass ( by the way which creates a puddle of mud outside the window) I have gushing water landing right into the patio and it floods up to the glass sliding doors. I told the Mgt office of the issue and they sent someone to clean the mud of the top of the drain....but that really is not the problem...and the drain, drains slow in the rain anyway...the problem is that the water is not routing correctly. So this is my issue, unfortunately I am unable to use the patio. I cannot sit out there or put any furniture out there like other residents. When I was looking for an apartment I specifically wanted a patio. Had I known the patio flood I would not be here. If you plan to rent here, I would say your getting a decent place to live...just think twice about a first floor apartment....try the second or third floor. Other than this, its not too bad great location, WAWA & Home Depot up the street, right next to 95.

My experience with the property manager, Melissa, was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. She repeatedly cut me off while I was trying to speak, raised her voice, and did not allow me to fully explain my situation. What made matters worse, she hung up the phone not once, but twice--then called back just to continue speaking in a rude and dismissive manner. This behavior is completely unacceptable, especially when dealing with potential tenants. No one deserves to be treated that way--especially my mother, who was also spoken to disrespectfully during this process. Additionally, there appears to be discrimination when it comes to housing vouchers, which is not only unfair but deeply concerning. After looking into it further, I noticed there are already multiple negative reviews reflecting similar experiences, and unfortunately, I can now confirm those concerns are very real. Please save yourself the time, stress, and disrespect. There are better places out there that will treat you with the dignity and professionalism you deserve. And we have her own recording.

A couple of years ago, SoJay took over. The difference is night and day. SoJay has a pleasant, helpful staff that responds quickly. When I have a problem, question, or dispute, I am treated with respect. I feel like SoJay gets it... an HOA exists to serve the community and make it a better place to live. When that HOA is managed by a company who employs a staff that acts with professionalism and common sense, everyone wins.

I need to keep a sharp eye on my invoices so that I catch the over-charges when they happen. This company has a very high turnover of office staff, while the previous company kept the same wonderful employees for nearly a decade. Every new person who works in the leasing office seems great but they don't last long. This results in frequent chaos of the daily operations of the community. Lately, I can't even get a live person on the phone and am not getting responses after multiple emails, phone calls, and messages through the resident portal. Things have reached an all time low as they can't seem to keep up with the very basic task of running the trash compactor, which is typically as simple as inserting a key and pushing a button. On multiple occasions we have had about an 8 feet wide area outside of the trash compactor that was piled with garbage. This place that I used to love as my home is now an embarrassment and a hazard. One of the nice amenities here used to be the indoor pool but now it appears to be a health hazard with mold growing on one of the ledges and the water having a murky appearance it never had before. The company also raised rent by $300 per month in one shot when they initially took over. They also demanded copies of everyone's birth certificates, which legally they are permitted to do, but is not normal, and felt very intrusive and questionable. In all of my years of renting, no one has requested these documents.
