What a fun addition to San Carlos! Huge variety, quality products, and the owner and the other man who usually works here are super nice, relatable, and HIGHly (lol) knowledgeable. My bestie needed an alternative to juul, I guess they're being discontinued or something and the owner was able to make her a custom liquid mix for a similar style pen. He was so patient as she explained what she wanted and why, they went over a few options and alternatives, excellent customer service. Had fun joking with the boys over all the products over the decades too, seeing the new stuff, really good vibe in here and prices are fair. Right off of El Camino, usually lots of street parking and there is a cigar shop next door if that is your thing. I've only heard of "Itsaboys" so can't say too much on that one but given the owners experience and professionalism, I have no doubt you'd be in good hands! read more

Came across Dabit after sadly dropping my pipe (RIP Space Ghost). I was near Redwood City so I stopped by another shop first, but their selection was underwhelming and the staff had a weird attitude was not welcoming at all. I left that shop empty handed and went to pick up a pizza in San Carlos. I thought to myself "there's no way San Carlos has a smoke shop" but I was wrong and it was around the corner from Patxis pizza, so clearly it was meant to be. I was warmly and genuinely greeted when I walked into shop. The shop was clean, and the selection was off the hook, I for sure was leaving out of there with a new pipe. The person helping me wound up being the owner and he was really knowledgeable and personable, we wound up talking for about 15 minutes, and he advised me on which pipe I should buy. Just based off customer service alone I'll be returning to dabit, however; their selection of pipes are the best I've seen on the peninsula; a wide ranged inventory. The other store had pipes that were just too mystical and magical looking, like I'm just trying to smoke I don't need to summon Falkor or some woodland creature. I was looking for a simple semi-discreet pipe and I found it, big shout out again to Dabit, I definitely recommend. read more

While I was waiting I had a conversation with the other employee and he showed me some of the products they had.
