I ordered the butter chicken with a side of order of naan and some samosas. The butter chicken came highly recommended from previous reviews. The flavours of everything was very okay. Now here is why they get 1 star: CLEANLINESS Why do I say that? The cooks in there were cooking wearing sandals. I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure this is illegal for any restaurant in Ontario. It poses a massive safety risk, both to the customer and to the cooks. What if hot oil spills on your feet? Wear some closed toe shoes you momos. Also, I saw one cook in there licking his fingers after stirring food in a pan. He never washed his hands. I saw him lick his fingers and with the same hand, handle my samosas and put them in the styrofoam container! I don't know what the hell possessed me into taking the food home. I should have called them out then and there and got my money back but I was hungry and I wanted to look past it. I wanted to experience the flavours. I've read good reviews on this restaurant. But if you don't care about health and food safety, then you will experience this place a lot better. But once I saw how my food was made, that was all I could think about while I was eating and so the experience was ruined. Very disappointing and won't be coming back.

We got some samosas, Biriyani, Lamb curry and Nepalese spicy naan. The Biriyani was unlike the Biriyani we were used to and tasted good in its own way. Turns out spicy Nepalese naan isn't spicy. Infact it had ground fennel seeds and honey over your regular naan. The lamb curry was also mild and not too spicy. Overall, the food tasted great given the location and the streets are awesome to walk around after your lunch/dinner.
