Due to driver error, lack of competency, and flat out laziness, the driver who was supposed to pick up my dumpster TIPPED THE ENTIRE BOX OVER leaving a huge mess in my driveway. DA services then has the nerve to leave the mess on my driveway and tell me that the box was loaded "unevenly." Im a general contractor have loaded dozens of debris boxs, none of which have ever tipped over while being loaded onto a truck....I will never use DA Services again considering the poor treatment after this incident. Take responsibility for your actions DA. It should not be me cleaning up the mess that you caused. I'd give more stars if I could based on the delivery driver's mad skills alone! He always gets the dumpster perfectly in my driveway regardless of what's going on in our court. A few times I thought for sure he wasn't going to make it in there and he always did! We bought a major fixer upper and the previous owner was a hoarder. I've ordered 6, yes 6, dumpsters over the last 8 months and every single time, from reservation to dumper pick up, things have been perfect! One time I even got same day delivery! I feel like writing this review is almost pointless considering it seems like this behavior is not corrected. If the company cared, this would be a 5 star review. This is more for ANYONE ELSE LOOKING DOR RELIABILITY! FIND SOMEONE ELSE! THE SAVINGS IS NOT WORTH IT!! This company could ABSOLUTELY CARE LESS that they caused us to lose a day of work, paid a team of workers without any production & wasted an ENTIRE day waiting on a dumpster. It was said to be delivered at least 3 diffrent times. ALL TO WHICH NEVER EVER SHOWED. Whoever is answering the phones could care less. We asked for an ETA repeatedly. No response, no call no nothing. We had to call over & over. We are literally STILL sitting here waiting while I'm writing this. The last time was 4pm.... its now 4:33. What kind of company stats in buisness with treating people like this. No care or concern for anything. ABSOLUTELY will NEVER use them again. BEYOND 5 STARS!!!! Every aspect of this business was amazing! We needed a dumpster to clean out our garage and do a general house purge. We contacted our garbage company and the prices were insane! We considered and tried to do individual trips to the Martinez dumps and it was a pain in the butt and getting too expensive! So we decide to get a price quote from DA (I found them on YELP) and we were over the moon with the price, time allowance and friendly customer service! We were allowed a week to keep the dumpster as opposed to 3 days with our garbage company and at almost twice the price! DAs prices were spot on (we got the medium size for $420) and you can even order the dumpster for additional days at $25 a day! Drop off was early in the morning so we definitely felt like we got our money worth. We had a hard time with the homeless population going through our bin at night and pulling up the trash we got below the top line and the company was very understanding about it and didn't penalize us. I am recommending this company to everyone! My neighbors were impressed with the pricing and the time allowance and said if they ever needed trash removal they'd call. If you need a dumpster service for cleaning, demo or remodel, call DA!!! You will not be disappointed!!! As a person who does commercial construction management I was impressed with their service and prices. Terrific service! I filled one 30 yard dumpster and they were able to pick it up same day and deliver a second 30 yard dumpster the next morning. The delivery man was super. He was able to get the dumpster in a perfect driveway location. All around great service. I'd recommend them to anyone. read more

I wish I would have checked the negative reviews before hiring this company for a dumpster. I would have gone elsewhere. I had a signed agreement a week before delivery with the address of the location on the contract. The day of delivery I got a call that they were not going to deliver the dumpster because it was too far away. But I gave them the address and we had a signed contract a week before delivery. With such short notice it was impossible to find another company to deliver a dumpster. So I had to rent a trailer and have 2 of my workers take 5 trips to the dumps throughout the day. This cost me about $1,500 extra with dump fees, gas and loss of work. Please find a more competent company to patronize. read more

Second time = disaster. Although we last year we successfully rented their dumpster, with no complaints, this time around was a TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE, NO GOOD, VERY BAD EXPERIENCE! So our moving day is coming up, and the date that we have to be out by is non-negotiable. I called DA Services last week and arranged for the dumpster to be dropped off this morning. The lady took my credit card number and advised they would be charging the full amount to my card two days prior to the drop off. Waited all morning, but no dumpster arrived. When I called to inquire its whereabouts, the receptionist (the same lady that set out top last week) claimed she had no memory of my phone call and I had NO dumpster reservation in the system. Then she said she wouldn't have a dumpster for me until Friday - five days away! She said since she didn't have a signed contract, the reservation wouldn't have been kept. What contract?! She made no mention of a contract when we spoke last week and certainly did not mention that our reservation was contingent upon her receiving a signed contract. In any case, I didn't have a contract to sign! I emailed her a screenshot of the 7 minute long outgoing call to her number in my call history as evidence but received no reply. Next, my partner called. He also got nowhere with her. When he asked to speak with her supervisor, she said they were away from the office for the next week and there was nothing she could do. She was very unprofessional & rather rude, and had ZERO compassion - she took no responsibility for the error -which was 100% her fault - and has created HUGE problems (financial and otherwise) not to mention the enormous unnecessary stress. This awful experience was an unfortunate departure from last year, and I suspect she is trying to cover up her mistake by intercepting my emails and not relaying our requests to speak with the owner. Technically, the company doesn't deserve a poor rating, just their bad employee... So if the owner sees this or somehow finds out what happened, and reaches out to make an attempt at rectifying this, I would greatly appreciate it, and will gladly addend this review accordingly and adjust the number of stars. read more

Service was great - pickup and dropoff to my driveway for a huge back yard redo-job. Driver was great and was more concerned with my concrete driveway than i was! Debated about getting a dumpster or having my contractor make multiple trips to the dump with his pick-up. No question that this was the best way to remove the block from our old retaining wall. DAS answers their phone, is informative and efficient. They delivered the dumpster on Friday afternoon, right on time, and in the spot where I had left the cones. Work done on Saturday. I called Sunday and left a message saying it was full and ready for pick-up. The driver arrived Monday at 9am and the dumpster is gone. Couldn't be easier and our project is moving forward.
