The weather was lovely and views awesome. The food service was quick. Two entree's bottle of local wine, and dessert for less than 50 euros. This was frankly one of the better meals (among many excellent ones) we had in the Milan area, and one of the least expensive. This is a must stop if you are exploring the upper city!

We came here around siesta time, so when we finished eating, we've realised that no one else is here, not counting us, an owner lady and some really old people reading newspapers. And we still felt welcomed! Interior is really comfy - dark wooden tables and chairs, big bar, where you can drink your espresso and leave, newspapers, old wine bottles, some photos on the walls and a lot of people. True Italian vibes. Menu is in Italian or English. They have variety of Italian goods here - pasta, pizza, main dishes, everything is really tasty and in good prices! We've decided to take a fixed menu for, as I recall, 14 euros, with pasta, main dish and a wine/coffee and water. I don't remember what we ordered exactly but I think I've had something similar to ravioli with ragu and bacon, ahhhhhhh, amazing!!! Main dish was simply big amount of meat with fries or mashed potatoes, nothing too crazy, but tasty as well. Wine - omnomnom. Food is damn good and the whole place is so cute. One of the old guys smiled at me and said "cin cin" when I was drinking my wine. The owner of this place, nice lady, was speaking only Italian, but we somehow managed to talk with her - Italian gestures, "molto bene" and "perfetto" were enough to communicate and leave big smiles on our faces. Grazie mille!

I walked straight up from Milan central station to come to this - while passing cathedrals and all, you can come here (4 mile walk). Try not to pass by. Sign isn't too obvious. Ambiance: very casual. Both inside and outside. Menu: short and sweet. English is ok! Service: minimal, but chef brought my pasta! - Gluttony Expedition - Lunch half & half ravioli: Lemon & saffron ravioli (yellow) was very light and gentle fragrance. spinach one was light and tasty. Both a bit harder than I'd like but cooked well. Very tasty and big portion for me. - Conqueror's Deduction - 4.5 stars. I walked all the way from Milan central station for this! Very homey yet tasty fresh pasta! The looks are a bit unassuming, but they do offer great pasta!

We were provided menus that were quite simple. Two types of pasta were available (long or short) and they were able to be prepared a few different ways. I had the long pasta which resembled Alfredo noodles with black pepper and parmesan cheese. The dish was simple and the pasta was fresh. They offer a short list of beer and wine to compliment the pasta. During my time there I saw many people attempting to get in but the place was full. Several parties waited to get a seat. The service was good, the food came out quick and was exactly what I needed before my reservation. The food was also inexpensive. I noticed a disclaimer when I exited that this location is "not a restaurant" but serves a sampling of a larger restaurant. 4.5 stars!

It was a healthy sized portion and I ended up eating only a bit of my pasta and took the rest home; it - a combination of butter sauce and mushrooms atop flat squares of pasta - was good, too. For some weird reason the restaurant kept the outdoor heaters on, even though I asked them to turn mine off on this warm, beautiful day, but they eventually turned it off as the crowd thinned. Prices were reasonable and the service was decent, and the outdoor seat I occupied was very comfortable and provided a good view of the world going by. Memo to parents w/ kids: it's great that you're taking your little ones out to dine in public, but please teach them, and enforce their, manners when doing so. We can do w/o your toddler's pounding rocks on the table, and screaming "Nonna!" every 3-4 minutes while you gaze, transfixed and oblivious, at your cellphone. If you're going to introduce your child to polite, public society, then please make sure he's polite himself, and don't hesitate to correct his bad manners before I or some other person bothered by his misbehavior does so. Capisce? Grazie!

We stumbled across this restaurant in search of vegetarian food in an area where we realized options were limited and were very warmly welcomed in. The decor of the restaurant was beautiful as it had a lovely lavender theme and was classy and spacious. The owners were very accommodating and gladly suggested some vegetarian options for our family of five. The bread and chilli oil starter was fresh and tasty and was an incredible preview of the dishes that were to come. We started off with vegetarian pizza which was incredible...having had pizza so often during our trip we were blown away by how delicious this vegetarian pizza was. And just when we thought nothing could top the pizza out came another incredible dish - a mushroom and zucchini risotto. Each dish was a marvel and yet again the owner/chef presented us with another outstanding dish - pear and cheese ravioli with poppy seeds. Each dish danced on our taste buds sending waves of euphoric delight. We ended the meal with tiramisu and coffee - which we agreed was the best we ever had. The authenticity and sincerity of the owners/chefs shines through their food. They really put their heart into each dish. The owner was kind and stopped by to create some banter. Thank you thank you thank you to the owners for making this culinary excursion a memory we will forever cherish not only of our time in Milan but our entire stay in Europe! Wish you continued success in creating everlasting memories in creating food with emotion
