Found this place in Fayetteville while doing Christmas shopping. Clean establishment that has been open for about a month. Black owned and operated. There was great customer service, and the lady at the front was friendly and gave good suggestions regarding the menu. As main courses, we had the Seafood Mac with peppers & onion, garlic corn, and pickled jalapeños, and also had the B&B fried chicken tacos. Per normal, I happened upon Da Loaded Mac as I was in the area shopping and now hungry and looking for seafood spots to satisfy my appetite. Yelp suggested them so off we went, to find them. They were somewhat off the beaten path from the shopping area, but we found them okay. Well, the lights were off in the front so we did pass by at first but after a quick u-turn, we pulled in and headed inside. We were immediately greeted by a woman and a gentleman (another couple was seated waiting on their order) and they let us know they were happy to answer any questions we may have. Admittedly so, I did feel a little rushed to finally place my order as the woman asked us at least 3 times if we were ready. So, I did reluctantly order after the 3rd ask. I went with the Build Ya Bowl of da house mac and cheese, fried shrimp poppi, peppers and onions, and green onion with blanco sofrito sauce on the side. I was torn between the hibiscus tea and the flavored lemonade, but the woman allowed me to taste the tea and it was so good, so I had that as my drink. While waiting, and still a little uncertain about the order I just placed, I finally got the courage to go back and change my order. I stood at the counter for a while (both the lady who took my order and the male cook were busy preparing orders). I asked, if possible, to hold the peppers and onions to which they accommodated as well. My green onions were left off but I blame myself for changing the order mid-preparation. Once the food came, we realized we were also missing the salmon bites that were suggested as an appetizer. I inquired and was told I was never charged for them. I found that odd because we had a long conversation about them plus I thought I recalled hearing them by name when she repeated our order. Unfortunately, I was not offered a receipt to confirm, so I politely said 'okay' and went back to eating my bowl. To my surprise, my name was called a few moments later and I was handed the salmon bites. I thought that was nice of them to still prepare them for me. Overall, we left very impressed with this establishment and I sent a group text to all of my Fayetteville friends encouraging them to check them out too. Oh, and when we got in the car, there sign was now lit up which likely explained why they quickly became so busy after we entered and mentioned the sign was off.
