The serve coffees, beers, soft drinks and a variety of snacks. The locals frequent this place in their droves, particularly first thing in the morning and late in day for a pre-work coffee or post work beer but in between it is the domain of the holiday maker. The coffee there is good and so are the snack but I can particularly recommend the burgers which are awesome. They are homemade and come in a hearty bun with salad and of course if you are particularly hungry you can also have fries on the side. It's not dirt cheap, about EUR4 -5 euros for burger and fries but makes a good quick lunch stop or somewhere to go if you need a junk food hit.

It has two rooms inside, the main bar to the left and a smaller and cosy bar to the right which is dimly lit and a little like a Valentines set. The staff there are friendly and make good eye candy for the men but they are still efficient and have been working there for a couple of years. The bar serves a range of drinks from the regular beer and wine requests through to cocktails. Worth trying are the Italian specialty Spritz drinks which are cheap and some of the nicest in the village. The also usually serve them with something to nibble like olives or crisps.

First impression - this is a pub and they do pub food! But, stop: they can cook with quality, people ordered pork chops, tagliatelle and burger - everyone was satisfied! I couldn't figure out what has been wrong with the waitress - but she gave us all the time the impression of not being welcomed. The second time we went there it got even worse. While other people got served they denied our order (kitchen closed and NOTHING left). I've no clue what's wrong with the waitress, if she didn't want to serve us because of our nationality or whatever. Therefore: Be good to yourself - Mayrhofen has better places who deserve your visit.
