They can do proper steaks! I am impressed! Have been to Mayrhofen for a week of holidays and been here 3 times - 2 times I have eaten steaks - tender, exactly as I asked them to be cooked and flavour intense! First impression - this is a pub and they do pub food! But, stop: they can cook with quality, people ordered pork chops, tagliatelle and burger - everyone was satisfied! Prices are pretty good too, 14 quit for a 12oz steak plus fries and vegies.. Would defo go back here, no question, only depending where the next skiing holidays will be! read more

We went there two times. The first time we ate bruschetta and aubergines filled with rice. Both have been above average. However, the additional ordered fried potatoes were swimming in oil and are, from my point of view, not worth an order. The reason for the one star rating is due to the bad service. I couldn't figure out what has been wrong with the waitress - but she gave us all the time the impression of not being welcomed. The second time we went there it got even worse. While other people got served they denied our order (kitchen closed and NOTHING left). I've no clue what's wrong with the waitress, if she didn't want to serve us because of our nationality or whatever. Therefore: Be good to yourself - Mayrhofen has better places who deserve your visit. read more
