This was the only place open when we arrived in town around 8pm. We had no expectations, especially since there was no one in the restaurant at the time. However, we were very pleasantly surprised! It's a casual, local restaurant that serves pasta, pizza, and the most amazing burgers. After a few minutes, the outside dining patio filled up with locals enjoying a meal out. We were the only non-Italian speaking diners there, which was such a nice change of pace after being surrounded by tourists (and many Americans) in Rome. Our waitress, Victoria, was incredibly sweet, and spoke English well and tolerated our attempts to speak Italian. The food was fresh and delicious, and there were gluten free options for my husband. The lemon cheesecake for dessert was the best we've ever had anywhere. It's also incredibly inexpensive for what you get. Highly recommend! read more
