We just had beer and bruschetta and it was wonderful. After our afternoon hike we returned for dinner, as we were anxious to try the pizza we had noticed others eating at lunch. We started with wine and a tomato salad. The tomatoes tasted like they were picked an hour earlier. Next, we had the Pizza Diavolo (tomato, mozarella, hot salami and oregano). The pizza was amazing! The crust is thin and crispy, but not too thin. It's baked in a wood-fired oven. Everyone there was very friendly to us even though it was not a tourist place. Here is what we noticed: - We arrived for our 7 PM reservation and there was already a line. We were seated in the patio next to a table of 8 or 10 people that were really loud. Courmayeur is a small area of ​​nearly 50 km of slopes and yet we come back at least 3 times every year. This is of course due to the beautiful area, hospitality, marvelous village and mostly because of the amazing food! Giorgio's Alpetta is definetly our favourite restaurant on the slopes and we always look forward to have lunch there again!
