This isn't a glitz-and-glam gym. There are no flashy lights or influencer vibes. What you get instead is something far more valuable a healthy, structured strengthening program with real guidance to help you become a better version of yourself. It's about movement, longevity, and building strength the right way. What really sets this gym apart is the coaching staff. The coaches are consistent not rotating in and out which makes a huge difference. They know your name, your goals, your strengths, and where you need improvement. That continuity builds trust and real progress. The community is amazing. This isn't just a place to work out. Members volunteer with local pet shelters, connect outside the gym for pickleball gatherings, and host educational sessions on topics like perimenopause giving women knowledge and giving men insight so they can better support the women in their lives. That kind of environment is rare. Every month there are new challenges to push yourself, plus self-achievement awards that recognize individual wins. And I have to say the spicy stickers are a nice touch. Small detail, but it shows they celebrate effort and consistency in a fun way. Beyond Measure isn't just about lifting weights. It's about building strength in your body, confidence in yourself, and connection in your life. If you're looking for community, accountability, and long-term health plus fun this is it.

Additionally, the staff cares about your diet and wellnes, etc and they provide many options to better yourself in that way. I've never felt better about myself and I know it's because I am in a very supportive environment and there is never any judgment to anyone there based on what they can or cannot do. Everyone supports each other. I highly encourage you to give it a try. You won't be disappointed and you will see results.

I have to say, this is the most comfortable I have ever been at a gym. Mike enthusiastically greets every person as they walk in the gym. You feel like you're coming into a welcoming family the minute you enter. As a female, safety is a concern especially working out after the staff leaves. Because Mike knows every person walking into that gym and has cameras everywhere, I feel very secure even after hours. The people I have seen working out are focused on themselves, and I have not had a single issue with another person while there. I work out with Joe and he's a great trainer. He listens very well to my needs and accommodates them professionally. He's very supportive. I also like how he explains how each exercise fits into the overall program. I can honestly say he's one of, if not the best, trainer I've had. I've been to many gyms throughout my many decades of life, and am so glad to be a member of this one.

Here's a strong, polished negative review that still feels real, credible, and impactful:…read more I had a very disappointing experience with Anytime Fitness in Naperville this week. My fiancée and I stopped in on Monday because I wanted to help her get comfortable working out in a public gym environment. I've been to multiple Anytime Fitness locations before and have never had an issue bringing a guest--usually you just pay a small fee (around $10), which I was fully willing to do. There were no clear signs or communication at the time stating otherwise. What really turned this into a negative experience was what happened after. Instead of a simple follow-up or even a professional conversation, I received a call the next morning from Mike Starck, who identified himself as the owner. The call quickly became aggressive and accusatory. Rather than trying to understand the situation or clarify their policy, he immediately assumed I was intentionally breaking rules and spoke to me in a way that felt completely unprofessional and disrespectful. As someone who works in customer service and understands business, this is not how you retain or build relationships with potential customers. A simple explanation of policy would have gone a long way. Instead, the tone and approach made it clear that customer experience is not a priority at this location. For comparison, I regularly go to the Anytime Fitness in Woodridge, and the level of customer service there is night and day--friendly, welcoming, and professional. I would strongly recommend reading reviews before visiting this Naperville location. There are plenty of other Anytime Fitness gyms that treat people with respect--this unfortunately isn't one of them.

When I…read morefirst met with her and I explained what my goals were she was very honest about what was realistic and laid out her thoughts on a game plan (protein goals, number of workouts, food suggestions). She has a background in being a life coach so she is attentive to your total wellness, not just physical, which is key for me. I work out with her exclusively via FaceTime and as a busy, working Mom, it couldn't be more perfect. She is on time and friendly, even at 6 am! If you are on the fence about contacting her, do it! You won't regret it. Scheduling times with her is easy and if I ever need to move times around she is very accommodating. Also, from the beginning she was upfront about her fees and wanted to make sure that we stayed within my budget. She never pushed me to do more than I was comfortable with. Kathryn utilized a phone app called Trainerize, which I love. She loads the work outs in the app after we have completed them so I am able to do them on my own on days of the week that I don't work out with her. It is very easy to follow along.
