Baristi has a casual ambiance, free WiFi, patio or indoor seating, and a nice selection of traditional and specialty coffees, tea, infusions, iced or hot, etc. They also have a nice selection of baked goods and some other food menu items, freshly made as opposed to previously frozen and thawed like at Star****. Prices are very reasonable, parking at the Plaza is secure, and Baristi is surrounded by bukoodles of other shops, eateries, and even a movie theater, making it a great stop while walking around with your friends. I really appreciate when employees at a spot actually care about their work, it says a lot about the ownership/management. I ordered an iced PSL and their Avo Toast. Both were absolutely fire. The drink didn't taste like it was loaded with sugar, which allows you to actually taste the coffee and notice the quality of the beans. The avo toast I had was drizzled with this chili oil they make in house and it was 10/10. I wish I lived closer to here, as I'd likely visit daily. If you're a genuine coffee lover, definitely give this place a shot.

The coffee had an old or stale taste and was missing the natural sweetness I usually expect from good coffee beans. The espresso also seemed too watery rather than rich and syrupy, almost as if the shot wasn't extracted properly. I'm not sure if it was the espresso machine, the grind setting, or simply a bad shot, but the flavor was noticeably different from what I had here before. Unfortunately, I couldn't finish it and ended up throwing it away.
