Stay away from this company. We hired the owner Ron Kozera to renovate our two bathrooms and all…read morethings that could go wrong went wrong. He didn't supervise his subcontractors who did shoddy jobs. The tile guys didn't follow grout mixing instructions for the marble tiles and the grout ended up sinking too low and cut our feet when we walked on them. Instead of hiring the tile people back to remedy the problems, Ron decided to fix the problems on his own and layered sanded grout on top of the non-sanded grout, which, in three weeks time, turned black and crumbled all over the place. The electrician he hired set the temperature of the shower/bath wrong and the water never got hotter than lukewarm. Ron drilled holes in the bathroom ceiling and installed lights before measuring the vanity and as a result the lights were off center from the vanity. He forgot to order the custom-made shower glass doors after we already paid him and we had to wait for over a month for the doors to be delivered/installed and as a result we had to shower in the makeshift bathroom for a month. He had terrible attention to details, left many places of the walls unplastered/uneven, used the wrong paint color for my bathroom even though I had instructed him to buy the particular paint from a particular brand; he and his subcontractors also neglected to grout tiles behind the vanity and every time we open the vanity drawers we see gapping black holes. Ah, he and his subcontractors painted shut the radiator vent and we had to hire people to fix the problem. He couldn't caulk the bathtub floor and shower correctly, and it started peeling almost as soon as we used them and mold started growing around it. I asked him to fix the problem, and instead of removing the damaged caulk, he tried to plaster over them, which is the worst thing you could do. To top it off, Ron Kozera would get offended when we gave him feedback. It was a nightmare to deal with him and his company. In summary, stay away from this company and protect yourself and your property.

He appeared knowledgeable and put out a demeanor of trust with a soft tone to his voice and constant reassurance that he would give me the best price. Then he proposed to do portions of a 3' x 4' porch not tearing it down and replacing it but just taking down parts of it for over $6000! When I questioned this price he told me not to worry about it that he had already started the job and that we would work it out. When I looked to see what he'd done to start the job he had taken out a piece of trim from the roof. Which is exactly "starting" the job. Even though, I had not signed the contract and I had not given him a deposit or permission to move forward with this job. It was all downhill from there. He then became angry and spiteful so he literally told me one day because I did not give him the rest of the work that he had taken on another job, and it was gonna take him longer to do my job. OK I said, not a problem. As he began to take longer and longer to finish the repointing work, I began to get nervous about the cold weather coming, and I still wanted to get some things on my roof done so I asked him to go ahead and give me a quote on the roof work. He comes back with a quote for $9900 for some roof work which I didn't think was a crazy number, until I had an actual roofer come and give me an estimate of $5500 for the same work and then another roofer give me an estimate of $6200. This guy is a fraud, he price gouged me the entire time because I didn't know and trusted him. He's not trustworthy. The pricing is one thing and if there was excellent work to go with it I really couldn't complain. When I confronted him on the terrible cement job that he did, he lost his mind. He yelled and screamed into the phone, called me all kind of names that I will not mention here trust me, do you due diligence with this guy do not hire him. He does not respect women which is why most of his reviews are men he worked with or did jobs for. "There's so many things that happened on this job; way too much to type in this review, however, you can let the pictures tell the story on the cement and how he left this job.
