Requested an appointment online, it was scheduled for 2 days later, at the scheduled time I received a text that Eric was on the way. Can't say enough about Eric, he took the time to diagnosed the problem, ordered the part a new heater. He created a temporary bypass so the system would stop blowing the breaker. I had surgery and it's difficult was difficult to keep walking into the garage, 2 days later Eric arrived as scheduled to replace the new heater, he fixed sit, fixed the wheels that were down on the frig and cleaned up everything. We needed the lid replaced on our washer. D.R. Was able to schedule a repair person promptly. The repairman seemed very knowledgeable and was extremely courteous. Our lid had to be ordered. So it was a 2 visit fix. I did think they were slightly pricey, but sure anyone else would have been cheaper. I would definitely use them again. read more

Now we are waiting on another visit whenever they receive the part. So I cannot comment on actual repair, since we are still awaiting the technician to return. The other issue was the technician did not have knowledge I booked the appointment online to take advantage of the $25 off offer. This caused alittle concern, but he included the offer in the quote, which, right now, before any repairs, seems reasonable. My 3 year-old microwave stopped working unexpectedly and I called D.R. Appliances. I had a great conversation with the service rep about what's likely wrong with it and the cost of potential repairs. One of our KitchenAid Electric stove/cooktop is not working. The good news is that the other 4 remaining heating elements are working perfectly. We called Dr. Appliances. A technician texted the acknowledgement and called back. Based on the model number and the symptoms, the technician claimed most likely the switch or radiant element burned out. Scheduled for an appointment for next day. Bryan, the technician arrived promptly and called 30 minutes earlier. He tested and replaced the radiant element in less than 30 minutes. I called DR Appliances for a leak in my refrigerator.(Samsung). The tech, Logan, was sent. He was prompt, helpful and was neat, clean and wore a mask the entire time in my home. He was knowledgeable and repaired the problem! About 2 weeks later, I noticed water accumulating again. I re- called and asked for Logan. He arrived at my home the morning of Hurricane Elsa. He again retested all, repaired a small leak and there was no charge for visit because they give you a 3 month warranty on their work. The ratings and customer service up until the repair visit were fantastic. Although the repair man was extremely polite he also was inexperienced. I am not judging age but he shared that he had been fixing dishwashers for less than a year. Isn't there some type of apprenticeship or mentor? My dishwasher wasn't draining properly. He checked the things that one does in this instance. Everything was okay. He ended up calling LG support line to troubleshoot. He suggested ordering a new part that would hopefully work but couldn't hurt. He seems to lack confidence in his diagnosis and on second visit when I asked if it might be a computer issue he agreed. He recommended I get a new dishwasher as the computer parts are really expensive he also gave me a tip on my garbage disposal that was a little bit smelly to load it up with ice and run it. Needless to say my brand-new dishwasher still isn't draining properly and my disposal is leaking like crazy thanks for nothing I spent over $800 to get no things taken care of. In the end they could not fix my washer. Replaced a part, ordered a board, got a defective board, ordered another, still same issue. I find it hard to believe an issue w the door lock rendered my washer un fixable. In all I was strung along for a month, spent $50 at laundromat, and still haven't received my reimbursement. I think it stinks I have to pay $80 for a service call. When I asked the guy about it he actually said "well you still have a guarantee so if something goes wrong we come for free". What? You mean if I figure it out and fix it when you couldn't, then you'll come back???? I'm baffled, unhappy, and replaced the washer. They still owe me $120. If it's not here promptly, and it's been a week already, I'll be back to remove a star. I certainly would t call them again. read more

The communication on what I needed repaired through Yelp was great. We set up the appointment. They follow up the day before to confirm the appointment. The day of the appointment before they came, they called to make sure they could come a little earlier. After the repair man analyzed the washer and dryer, he said that I needed a plumber because cold water was not dispensing to my washer. The dryer would need a new motherboard so technically I would be wise to just get a new one. Before I called a plumber, I took the hoses off the washer to see if water was coming out. I had a bucket ready. And yes the water was working. I mean if you don't know how to fix my washer, don't tell me I need a plumber. Just say you can't fix it. read more

Our dryer needed a repair and Mr Rivero, the owner, came to our house to fix it. And thank God he did. He has saved us from a potential house fire. His extremely thorough work discovered something terribly amiss: the gooseneck on our roof was not venting. We'd had our roof replaced a few years ago and, instead of leaving the dryer vent hole open, they covered it over with tarpaper and tile. We could have had a house fire because of this. We are so thankful that Mr Rivero spent so much time making sure our house was safe. He managed to make a hole and our dryer now works perfectly. I can recommend this company and hope you will contact them for any appliance repairs you may need. BTW, the roofing company that did the shoddy job was Kelly Roofing. Let's all admit it, no one wants to have the need for an appliance repair. It's never convenient, always a hassle to schedule, and it's usually expensive. But if you have an appliance problem-these are the people to call. Right from the initial call you feel you are in good hands. They actually send you a email right after you hang up to confirm your appointment. I have found in this town you never really know if any repair person will actually show up till they do. To get a text message an a email right away was reassuring. We knew we had a cracked hose coming off our ice maker line on the fridge that was leaking. Absolutely horrible. Warning this place is a rip off and you should avoid. So I made an appt online and explained on the online message that spinner was not working. I was called 15 min prior to arrival. That was the only positive in this whole situation. So tech gets here and it is the coupling to the washer that needs replaced. While he put coupling on bottom, he said not to do the top coupling it's not worth it. Ok. He is done in 15min tops. Bill comes to over $158?? Wait what. They offer $25 bucks back. Never once told of labor costs which when calling to complain, lady said that absolutely should have happened and not sure why it didn't. Owner came out and had to finish they job, trying to say labor is online, then next breath says I'm not sure why tech didn't tell you about labor cost. 15minutes is $125 per. have a blessed day haha..NEVER again read more

Tldr; Great service, sent out technicians quickly, highly recommended. Have used Dr. Appliances to fix washing machine issue and problem with button on oven. Washing machine issue would have been nearly as expensive to repair as a new machine. Repairman was honest instead of trying to make more money on repairs. Oven was a quick fix and did not even require any parts. Saved me over $200 if I'd tried to repair myself or over $1,000 if I'd replaced it. Highly recommended. read more

Eric was Fabulous!! The customer service I received from Dr. Appliance was impeccable! From scheduling the service call to receiving calls ahead of time letting me know they could get me in earlier than my scheduled appointment. My dishwasher was giving me an Error Code of CL and Eric was very knowledgeable of the situation and even diagnosed a problem I was having with the circulation of water with my pump...Instead of telling me he could " fix it" he was honest and said the money you will spend on trying to repair this 10 year old dishwasher is not a smart decision. WOW!! I was so amazed at his honesty and him walking me through every step of what he was doing at the time. He did try to fix my problem but the more he delved into everything from the Palmetto Bugs destroying my Panel Board, to a rusty shut off valve, We Both came to the conclusion that a New Dishwasher was in my future!! Dr. Eric...you rock! After reading a Yelp review, I called Eric. I live too far from him to have him come service my washer, sad to say. HOWEVER, that didn't stop him from taking the time to troubleshoot my problem with me on the phone. Hopefully, he will find a friend/colleague up here who can come help me. But, in the meantime, I now know what the problem is, and I can avoid the "upsell" that sometimes comes with appliance repair.
